It’s a wonder how countries with national health insurance are able to spend half as much (or less) per capita as the U.S.
Yeah, it's also a wonder why people from other countries come to the US to get their major procedures done, too.
Is it because we don't have a 2 year waiting list?
Is it because our doctors will perform the services regardless of what is deemed "medically necessary" by the authorization department of their government?
Is it because our doctors will perform the services regardless of their age? Because sometimes services are denied because their age deems the service a "waste" of resources?
Yeah, our elected crooks are ALL pocket lined by Big Pharma. Both sides of the isle. Rs and Ds alike. ALL in bed with the pharmaceutical companies and their lobbyists.
This is where we suck compared to other countries, our prescription drug access.
They want us hooked on THEIR drugs, and they want total control of the market.
But while our medical system isn't perfect by any stretch, it's the best thing out there.
