Browns get even thinner on OL

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...to-mandatory-minicamp-gets-cut-one-day-later/

The OL was already the biggest area of concern. Now it's even thinner. Ha ha ha

Not quite the happy, holding hands brothers we were made to believe they were. Duke wants out too. Baker threw him under the bus.

McCoy said no thank you.

I see the cracks opening.
He was benched halfway though the season? That team also have depth at RB. Better luck next time Booby as you reached hard with this post. There is a lot more cracks in your posting.

Way to take another thread off topic, GASH Steel. You really make this place less quality with all your hatred.

I am not going to blow smoke up your ***. If your thread sucks it sucks. You do better when you aren't trying to draw attention to yourself booby. Evaluations don't seem to be your strong suit pops. Maybe try basket weaving instead.

Man you can't go wrong with Mexican or Chinese. Did the Chinese recently. Might have to Mexican it up soon.Monroeville has a pretty decent sit, and that sounds good.

I can run circles around you in my sleep; you don't have a modicum of vision when it comes to football, Gash.

That is what you think pops on the booby, reality is a different monster. You can't grasp the basic football concepts. That countless of posters have to enlighten you.

I have no such problem. So keep sleeping running those circles, when you wake up you will be doing your same ol window licking.

I don't think anyone on this board likes the Clowns, nor wants to see them succeed.
But you post something that is forcing us to defend said Clowns?

Their O-Line was was their biggest concern? Did you watch any games last year or read about Desmond Harrison?
He started the first 8 games, and was benched for the last 8. He wasn't a starter, and continually showed up late and missed meetings. He was made an example of.....because he was insignificant to the team. Do you think they're cutting Mayfield/Beckham/Chubb/Garrett/Ward if they missed/showed late?

Duke thinks he's a starter and sees the writing on the wall with Chubb and Hunt on the team.
He knows after week 8 that he will be riding pine hard, and not even getting 3rd down work......which is what he actually is.
He's a 3rd down back. He's not a bellcow/starter.
You know him because he was a fantasy stud during their 1-31 stint for two years.
He was catching a lot of balls in garbage time because the Clowns were always losing/behind.
Baker did not throw him under the bus. Baker's towing the company line and trying to get everyone on the same page so there's no distractions.....as you would expect the QB/leader to do.

McCoy didn't sign in Cleveland because the Clowns weren't willing to pay him 10+ million/year and McCoy wasn't OK with being a situational non-starting player, or possibly being moved to a different position on the D-Line AND being situational there.

Sweet fancy Moses on an ice cream sammich!
Why must you post such nonsense?
I feel dirty.
Excuse me while I grab some Ajax and a Brillo pad and scrub this shame off myself.

I prefer skirt steak chimichangas grilled to a nice medium rare with charro beans and finely shredded cheddar cheese on a thin flour tortilla then lightly deep fried just enough to give it that crunch. With a side of fresh lime juice pico.

I somehow forced you to defend the Browns?

Did I have a gun to your head?

The Browns had a top 5 OL last year, but not now. Both OTs are below average.

Projected starting LT is none other than Greg Robinson, such a colossal bust (taken 2nd overall in the draft) that the Rams gave him away for a 6th-round pick. Yea, he is that bad.

But I guess he is going to suddenly get decent in his 5th year after sucking for 4.

The other OT is none other than our own undrafted Chris Hubbard. He's serviceable but will never be a top 10 RT. He is a below average NFL OT. He's not the road grader you wish to have at RT.

And they traded one of the best OGs in the NFL in Kevin Zeitler. If you think Austin Corbett is not a downgrade, I got some muffin tops to sell you, with some sprinkles of ting tongs.

Fresh lime is a must with mexican food. Skirt steak in a chimi is awesome. I am trying to eat red meat only 4 days per week these days. Hence shrimp. Shrimp was good. 16/20s

OP left out Lamm and Kush two free agents who came in to add into the mix. Both have starting experience. But I guess that was convenient not to mention either.

Kush and Lamm? Yea, there are some really quality players. Kush has been waived more often than Grandma Kooper waved from her driveway with her ginger ale.

Both started a decent amount of games last year. You made a thread about a depth player, I pointed out they have depth players they brought in. With starting experience. No shittier than the one they just let go.

So I'm clear, Kevin Zeitler was the Clowns' entire offensive line and the reason they had the success they did in the 2nd half of 2018?
Losing Zeitler and replacing him with Austin Corbett has now sunk the Clowns' season and Mayfield will be getting killed like Ben did under Arians?

Greg Robinson is the "projected starting LT" because HE WAS the starting LT for the second half of last season, the final 8 games. Nothing changing here. But apparently Zeitler was doing his job AND Robinson's, too and now Robinson sucks because Zeitler's gone.
And because Robinson sucked in St. Louis in their scheme, it's unpossible for him to succeed somewhere else in a different scheme.
I mean, no player in the history of the NFL has sucked on one team and then went on to succeed with a different team ( please note the sarcasm as I'm laying it on thick ).

Going from Zeitler to Corbett probably is a downgrade. We'll find out for sure this season.
Corbett is 23 years old and was a rookie last year.
Zeitler is a veteran at age 30.
My guess is the Clowns saw Zeitler as capital they could use to upgrade another area of their team because they saw enough in Corbett that they liked and thought they could lose Zeitler with minimal impact. Also, they have a fairly young team and continuity is key with an offensive line. They probably see this as a way to keep the same unit intact for as long as they can and grow with their young QB/RB/WRs.
And they got Oliver Vernon in return for Zeitler. He's got 50 some sacks in his career, and will now be starting opposite of Myles Garrett? It's not like they gave away Zeitler for magic beans.

No, not FORCED at gunpoint.
FORCED because of asinine logic devoid of facts and reality.
