Maybe at other positions, but to me, fourth is still too early for a RB when a team already has two capable players at a position where guys are signed off the street and perform well, like CJ Anderson with the Rams last season.

The Patriots have had like a dozen different backs rush for 100yds in a game over the past several years.
 
Its weird but I prefer rbs be taken from round 3 to 4. 2 if they are really gifted, and 5 if they dropped a lot and you need a backup.

Round 1 is always an overpayment. I don’t care if its a blend of barry sander and jim browns clone... never ever in the first round.
First and second round pick will absolutely get played over better options with less pedigree

Round 6 and seven, and really even five are too low for coaching staff not to kneejerk cut them and not give them a real
Shot. Some stick, but its an easy target when they need a roster spot. A 3 or 4 will get a fair shake but won’t be glued to the roster if they suck

Great GM's know to add strength to strength if the right player is there. I have zero issues with having three capable backs in that room, given injuries etc. Who could forget games in the 2nd half of the season where Connor seemed winded in the 2nd halves of games? Samuels is more of a gadget guy they can move around, h-back etc, now your have two solid, powerful runners in Connor & Snell. After losing LeVeon, our RB room is as solid as ever, with all three backs in their early 20's. I love it.
 
And now TE Foster Moreau comes off the board. The steelers let Jessie James leave. All they have is MacDonald and Grimble. Grimble is nothing and MacDonald is a huge injury concern.

TE is a much bigger need than a #3 RB but hey, they got the #3 RB spot locked down. Have no fear, if Conner gets injured, the steelers will now have a completely adequate guy to fill in

Oh that was it. They did that all three of Snell's seasons I guess.

With our OL and our versatile offensive attack, I'm sure he'll be okay.

They can add a serviceable TE once the cuts start flowing. They will strengthen that room before the season starts, no doubt about it.

Yup. When I am paid to make the picks and have the access to draft room and scouts... until then I trust the Steelers as this happens every single year on SN

And I want OLB walker
 
Snell will be a good back for the Steelers. Yeah he's not not fast, so what, neither was Jerome Bettis or Le'Veon Bell or James Conner or even Franco Harris for that matter. He's a Steeler back you lowers his shoulder and runs you over. That being said I hope they address pass-rusher soon as it seems we're a TJ watt tweaked hamstring away from being in deep ****.

I largely agree in that if I need a RB, 2-4 is the range I would look, but given what the Steelers already have at the position I do not see the combination of need and value.

I would have rather used the pick on a developmental player at OL or defense.
 
Is there some reason Walker is falling like a ******* stone? And Gentry? Wow .... I am perplexed. But, I'll wait and see
