Really? The Steelers are Reportedly trying to trade into the Top 10

Speaking off vacation cooch get in here and tell us what you have planned for your vacation, in effect tonight.

Pulling up old WalterFootball player profiles to see who they I mean you liked?

Get a jump on next years draft by watching a few 10 second video clips?

Send a letter to the NFL draft committee recommending they tape measure each players head?

Think of another bet, just as silly as the last one?
 
The sad, sad reality is that you're probably 99.9% dead on with this prediction. I'm getting so ****** up tonight.
 
Our family vacation to the mountains fell through. Teenager was being a piece of ****, so we are having a staycation. Off to Tony Romas for Happy Hour and draft talk, Wings on the Traeger and then off to a buddies house to watch. Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't have canceled the vaca, I would have just added to the work chores while there.

Chances are they won't. You know how reports are. They could have simply been getting a feel for the cost. Now to say 15 might be more realistic.

I hear ya. Sometimes you just dont want the aggravation. Being the parent of a 17 year old is the toughest thing I've done in life. But I digress. I'm getting drunk and enjoying the evening. Go Steelers!!!
 
This makes me nervous. Devin Bush is a good player but is he really worth a top 10 plus whatever else it costs to trade up?

This smells of desperation to me. Think of all the drafts where the steelers had needs and there were studs coming off the board and they sat and did nothing. Just last year, they let all the LBs plus Derwin James come off the board and stayed put and took Edmunds.

If they moved up 12 picks last year, they would have had their choice of Tremaine Edmunds, Derwin James, or Vander Esch. Devin Bush is nowhere near the prospect of any of those guys.

I hope these calls to move up are to move up in the 2nd round. If they move up in the 2nd and they end up with Rock Ya-Sin and Darnell Savage, i'd be pretty happy. But if they give away a bunch of picks and get Devin Bush? He better be a pro bowler.
 
My prediction hours ago on the prediction thread was we would try to trade up for a TE....Top 10 gets us TJ, possibly.........He can go as high as #7

Just because they stood pat in years past doesn't mean moving up this year is wrong. Hell. they might even have tried to move up in the past but just couldn't find a deal they liked or even a partner. I have no problem with them talking. All it means at this point is they are exploring their options.
 
I remember when we moved up many moon ago to grab this nice fella by the name of Troy

Yeah, but tape's analysis is spot on. I don't think there is a chance in hell of White still being available at 10, so we are looking at the Steelers spending a ton of draft capital to get a guy in Devin Bush who is probably not going to be as good as one of two or three they could have had by moving up to 12-14 last year.
