Not sure if they met with him but they did run Devin Bush through a workout at his pro day and Bush looked very good.

Maybe they are thinking he will be gone, before 20.

Or they don't want to give their hand away, and really like him...........

Aaron Wilson

Texas linebacker Gary Johnson (4.43 at the NFL scouting combine)
Gary is visiting the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers this week, according to a league source

The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced their first wave of pre-draft visitors. All on the offensive side of the ball, here’s the list released by the team moments ago.

RB Miles Sanders – Penn State
RB Damien Harris – Alabama
TE Alize Mack – Notre Dame
WR Andy Isabella – UMass
WR Dillon Mitchell – Oregon

A second mention for Isabella. I can see some interest there. Might have to snag him with the second pick if you want him, as I could see the cheats licking their chops soon after that for a stab at him.

Interesting. Updated pre-draft visit list.

I really like Isabella, but a 2nd rounder for a small WR from UMass seems a bit steep. I don’t think I’d draft him before our 3b pick.

Tuesday visits according to Labriola:

David Long, Linebacker, WVU

Travis Homer, Running Back, Miami

Jordan Scarlett, Running Back, Florida

Mike Weber, Running Back, Ohio State

And Boykin who was already listed as a visit.

Damien Harris would be a nice addition to the backfield. I know, I know, I'm a homer...

Man, I'm reeeeeaaaaallly liking the game play from Boykin. That kid had a mediocre QB at Notre Dame - pairing him with Ben would be shades of the memories of Martavis Bryant (not quite as fast though)...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't the Steelers always had an official visit with their eventual first round pick? So that kinda eliminates WR from the 1st round and my guess is they are taking Boykin later. I like the kid and think he could be excellent when paired with the right offense. However, I do not see one defensive player on the official visit list, linked closely to the team. Am I wrong?

"With the 20th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select ... Immanuel Turner, virtual nobody from Whodafuk U."

They really like the kid he had multiple visits with them. I am curious where they have him ranked. I am thinking possibly the third round... I like the kid too. I have a few others I prefer over him, but by no means would I be disappointed with the pick.

No not always. Some that fell in the first farther than they anticipated. I think Jarvis was one.

did not meet with Retard Spindenfall before drafting him, either.

Jarvis Jones and Rahard Mendenhall. Lets take someone they brought in please. Jarvis Jones didn't fall I think. i thought they took him above projection.

I like David Long a lot...He is a football player no matter what the measurable say. I think Jennings will be a better pro than Sills although Sills is a big target with great hands in the red zone.... just not sure he has what it takes to create enough separation. That is my homer WVU Analysis for the day.

Per Labriola, Wednesday 4/3/19 visits:

Ugo Amadi, Safety, Oregon

Jordan Brailford, Linebacker, Oklahoma State

Ben Burr-Kirven, Linebacker, Washington

Darnell Savage, Safety, Maryland

(safe to say they like Darnell Savage)

Updated 4/8/19 to include:

Justin Layne, Cornerback, Michigan State

Rock Ya-sin, Cornerback, Temple

DeAndre Baker, Cornerback, Georgia

Ben Banogu, Linebacker, TCU

Byron Murphy, Cornerback, Washington

Per Labriola, Tueday 4/9/19 visits:

Foster Moreau, Tight End, LSU

Charles Omenihu, Defensive End, Texas

(I see Omenihu was already a visit)
