Steelers Announce “No-Trade” Zones for AB; Prefer to Deal WR to NFC

The way I read Colbert he would of course look to trade AB to a non competitor, but if a Ravens or Pat's comes in with a substantially better offer you have to take it. This isn't just for next year or the next two. This is part of rebuild.

Pats would have to offer up a shitload of picks before I would trade AB to that cheating ******* franchise. And I am talking a boatload.

Like Ricky Williams type of trade...

CHEATRIOTS is a no-brainier NOT interested deal but the inter devision teams should be open game to at least see what they have to offer. This no-trade zone should have never been made public and could be viewed as KC show boating a little. What ever but the public display of "no-zone" definately could affect the value of said trade.

Not sure if you can trade comp picks but would you do a deal with Rams and lets just say their 1st and two 3rds for Brown?

This is a very weak class of WR free agents and i don't think the draft class at WR is that great either. All it takes is 1 team to think WR is the last key to the puzzle or a coach or GM on the hot seat and the steelers get a 1st rounder.

I think Amari Cooper could help the steelers too. Look at how much he changed the Cowboys offense. A team with a young QB could give a 1st rounder to get him a weapon.

When the Bears gave Mack all that money, it started the clock ticking. They have a small window while Trubisky is on his rookie deal. They may only have 2 years before they will have to give him over 100 Million and along with Mack, that's going to drain their cap fast.

I've felt that the Bears would be the ideal fit, as Brown would probably improve them more than any other contending team, but they already traded a lot for Mack and there's the question of whether they'd want to expose a promising, but still developing QB to a volatile personality like Brown.

I'd say the Patriots, Ravens, Browns and Bengals are the only teams to which the Steelers will absolutely not trade Brown.

Also, I really hope the Steelers are not adopting a rebuild mentality. There's no time for that with Roethlisberger entering his late 30s.

you can't....

Just wait for AB's camp tweeting their own no trade zone...

Yup. I wouldn't underestimate Brown and Rosenhaus' ability to meddle in this. I would think any trade partner would want to be assured Brown will play there with a good attitude and that they can agree on the contract. I'm betting Brown has a limited list of teams he wants to play for...

And yes Colbert should shut his pie hole on this and just go to work, the more he talks the itchier Brown's twitter fingers will get and will just drive his value down more.

This is all very depressing, Brown and Bell are both *****, but the fact them and other good players want out speaks volumes about this team's issues and weaknesses

NFL allowed teams to trade compensatory picks beginning in 2017.

Prior to meeting with ART Duece I would agree with yaz but post meeting, I don't think so. I think Mr. Big Checks was reminded who signs his checks and what will happen if he doesn't stay cooperative.

I hope not either, but I think so.
Ben's not getting any younger.
As long as he can take minimal hits. The Steelers should be somewhat competitive

what about to GB for COBB 2nd, 4thm, 6th?

No way do I trade Brown to the Cheats. I don't even want to imagine Brown getting his first ring and Marsha and the cheats getting their seventh with this *** hat. On the other hand if the Ravens would offer a good defensive player and maybe their first round pick I would be tempted to trade Brown to them. No way he gets anywhere near the targets, receptions, yards or touchdowns that he got with the Steelers and we all know how much drama that can bring to a locker room.

If you can trade him to Arizona for their 2nd rounder or the Pats for their 1st rounder, which do you take?
Obviously Arizona's 2nd rounder to keep him out of the AFC and away from the Pats.

This isnt rocket surgery, people

Id trade him to the bears for roquan smith.

LOL.....there is a reason you’ve heard and seen more Rosenhaus than Brown since the meeting with Art2, KC, & Omar. Rosenhaus knows the situation clearly. His client is still under contract for 3 more years. There isn’t much he or his agent can do about it. What Rosenhaus does know is how his client will get his money from another team and until he’s traded, it isn’t happening. So he put the muzzle on Brown’s social campaign against anything Steelers.

Does Detroit have anything of value to trade for Mr. Big Chest? Matt Stafford won't call AB out for being a douchebag. He won't be getting the football either.
