Today Antonio Brown send out a tweet thanking Steeler Nation for a great nine years, but that it was now time to move on. The writing on the wall was there, and while it may have been hard to stomach Browns departure to begin with, but it’s seemingly gotten easier as the days have played […]

Ridiculous trying to force KC’s hand, and driving down his own value at that, since everyone knows he’s done with the team. Wtf

What a loser. This clown thinks he’s in control of his destiny... you’ll play where the Steelers want you to play.

I know it wouldn't happen, but I wish someone from the FO would make a statement that they have no intentions on to trade him. Sure, it would eventually screw the team if he refuses to play, show up, etc. They need to show him and the NFL that they control his fate. Assbag!

Request all he wants but if the Steelers don't get a deal they want, they shouldn't give him away.

What leverage does he have? He's under contract for more than 1 more year. All he can do is kick and scream like a child.

I'm no salary cap expert but question for those who may know: What is the impact to the Steelers if he happens to skip training camp and fails to report for the season? Do we save the cap money like Bell last season? If he fails to report for the entire season, can that void his contract so the entire amount, even future years, is wiped away? I understand that may be the case in the Steelers actually paying him but I am curious if his salary would still apply to the cap?

Is it possible the Steelers have 2 guys leave $10+ million per year on the table by refusing to play?

Unfortunately Antonio Brown has come to believe his own hype. The thing he is known for, hard working / putting in the time / play maker / all the good football sense there is, is coming to an end. He is downward trending on the class guy he potraes and his personal life is being more exposed than ever,.......... Droping in sincerety. Wanting out is one thing but the way he is trying to force his departure is a whole new level of underhandedness. What ever happened to just going in and talking to the boss / owner and requesting a trade or you want out type desire???

My guess is he has near depleated that HUGE signing bonus and needs more money(s). You don't get to live a billionaire life making a millionaire salary. His business won't be BOOMIN when he has the likes of Blake BORTLES throwing to him.

Good luck to him but EVEN more good luck to our STEELERS who I hope get the absolute maximum out of his dreary ***.

Salute the nation

Steelers hold all the cards AB, you attention *****.

i'm no cap expert, but if he's on the roster when the new league year begins, he counts against the cap I believe. So if we don't trade him and he no shows, I think we can fine him, and each week his game check comes off the cap, but that point it's to late to use that money really. I don't know if it's like Bell, he has to report by a certain week to count.

Hell at this point, if there are no great offers, I'm calling Arizona and asking what they'd give for him, trade his *** to a bad team with not much at QB.

Until he is traded, his current salary counts on the cap. His 21 million bonus counts regardless. Unless he agrees to repay a portion of the bonus which would reduces the cap hit. That may be an incentive to him in where he may end up.

I'd trade Brown for the Cardinals, 49ers, or Jets first round pick.

I'd trade Brown for Jalen Ramsey straight up.

I'd trade Brown for both the Raiders first-round picks later in round one.

BROOM this Clown. Kevin Colbert, it's up to you.

If this was 1970, someone would have a bounty on their head once they exit. Oh, wait, teams, do that now but aren't allowed to talk about it.

Steelers won’t get close to a rd 1 for brown. Just like they didn’t get close for bell when everyone hear was saying multiple 1’s

Yes they did and got no offers

no they never tried. He never signed so he could not be traded.................

He’s gone and we’re gonna get squat for him. It sucks but we have to accept that and cut our losses.
