All you guys that have strong opinions on what will work on our game against the colts drop in your game plan either offense or defense or hell both. Even if it is only a situational play describe the situation and the call again offense or defense or both. Just maybe somebody reads it and uses it. It sure couldn't hurt the way they have been playing. Don't worry if it shows up in the game and works someone else well take credit for it so you won't have to give up your day job.

Might be fun to see if anything close to what is called for gets run in the game and works. everybody watch for their own plays.

I say we pull our entire defense to the sidelines and let the Colts run up and down the field at will. Eventually they'll get winded. On offense, we punt on 1st down with McCullers kicking.

KISS
Keep
It
Simply
Stupid

Run the ball. Keep luck on the sideline and our defense rested. Play mistake free football.

Throw the ball 87 times to AB.

We need to score 40+ points,

just do it

Remember that the team that scores the most points wins. Score the most points. By any means necessary.

Score some ******* points and get some turnovers.

Man now there are some detailed game plans. I sure hope that tomlin does not adopt the one about resting the defense.

defense. Play man to man coverage.. stunt and blitz like crazy. let chips fall wehre they may,, otherwise luck picks us apart anyway...

Offense,, im throwing to 3 people only. Antonio... heath in the middle or Bell out of the back field on delayed release ,, That's it.

no bombs away on third down
on their side of the field go for it on 4 and 1
on our side punt, no up to the line fakes to try to draw them offsides
pressure with four the whole game, over the top safety coverage on their best WR
Watt cover their best pass rusher /TE assist what ever it takes
move the ball down the field, focus on ball control no horizontal passes
leave Wheaton /Allen on the bench/ Archer
in the red zone up close run Blount
within the 20 quick passes to Bell /Brown
screen game seems to be a strength /don't be afraid to feature it with Bell
On first or second try a bomb to Bryant occasionally if he beats his man /no just loft it ups
no run run passes, keep mixing it up

Stay ahead of the sticks on offense. Long sustained drives. If you're going to go over the top, do it on the early downs. 25 yard fly routes on 3 and 1 suck. As supe said KISS.
If Shazier is back, find a way to get him, Spence and Timmons on the field at the same time.
I'd like to see more of Thomas (if healthy) in nickel packages.

This, with a higher percentage of running than passing. Throw in a razzle-dazzle play if a momentum swing is needed.

I'd like them to bring back the play from years ago where, pre-snap, Kordell walked towards the sideline faking confusion and it was a direct snap to the running back. This was way before the Wildcat was fashionable.

FIRST, on defense : 1.) There were several series of downs were Dick L. had the correct personal / schemes / stunts / blitz packages called, reminding me of a near past defense. WE NEED THIS, at least for more than a half. 2.) Cortez, needs to blank his mind and play the receiver / game, not playing in the past but in the present. 3.) Mcullers needs on the field, in steady rotation, starter status. Along with Tuitt.
4.) Not always, but tighter man to man and ******* bump / bang off the line of scrimmage. 5.) Spence is still a ROOKIE, such as Shaizer, I think Shaz gives us a little more presents felt. If he is healthy, he starts, small leash. 6.) I wish Harrison could take a 6hr youth pill (for game and to get laid by his wife after the game) as we need more production from that side, how to get it is still a mystery to me. 7.) Overall defense needs to disrupt timing / flush luck / promote mistakes / hold on to the obvious easy PICK.

OFFENSE needs to block a grade or two up 1.) As a head coach, I'd told the whole team that if you can grab an OL man and "shuck" him, you get $5.00 . This would go the entire week. (kind of like the RB carrying a football and team tries to make him fumble). 2.) Ben needs to be given a more open AUDIBLE option. Game planned audible type stuff with little free lance, to see whats working. 3.) Keep mini Archer (and big Archer) off the field. He doesn't command anything, a spy or special game planning defensively as to the way we use him. 4.) An audible bubble screen yes, but not a planned play. 5.) The OL needs to step up and ******* run block as this game needs a lot of pound the rock. Should be our main focus. 6.) Set up the play action, yes play action and use the mother ****** on first down TOO!!!!!!!
7.) Loose the predictability, trick plays not our main call (its not a trick if not a surprise), 8.) Todd Hailey needs to STEP up his "in game" play calling and overall coaching. Get in your face and show the MEAN Todd, get a constructive fire going

I am NOT an expert, but these are just a few observations as to some of the things I see. Predictability as in run run pass, loads up the box. Ben needs to audible smartly. Lets get some ******* HEART in this team. That can only come if everybody, including the HEAD coach / coaches, start doing some things with a little urgency involved. We seen it last week as the defense actually displayed HEART, maybe as respect to Dick L, but its there. Now lets slap / bump / hollar / what ever, but "lets rool"

Who ride................. WE RIDE !!!

Salute the nation

...sneak in baseball bats before the game and beat the **** out of every dressed OL they have. We'll get some sacks then.

KICK THEIR ***** BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER EVERY PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Open it up like we did against the Colts in '05. On offense we have to finish the drives and score TDs. On defense, hold them to FGs. Limit turnovers and cause a few.

Don't live in our fears and be aggressive in all three phases: 1) pull out the surprise on-side kick and fake punt on special teams 2) use Bell in the passing game and ditch the low-probability deep ball down the sidelines on 3rd down and long (where Ben invariably throws the ball out of bounds) and 3) dare them to run the ball on offense...would much rather take my chances against Trent Richardson than TY Hilton and their other threats at WR and TE.

Also, I would love for Tomlin to actually defer if we win the coin toss...I hate the idea of Luck having the opportunity to score in the final 2 minutes of the first half and then getting the ball again after halftime.

Really need some third and out from the defense and the offense move the ball and keep the Colts offense off the field.

Let Shazier cover RB or TE. Rush 4 or 5 on every pass play - no 1, 2 or 3 man rush. Won't work. Rush with Tuitt, Heyward, Kiesel, Harrison and Moats. Find a way to use Moats to rush the passer. Use McCullers on 1st down to stuff the running game. Put the Colts 2nd and long, or force them to throw 1st down. By having Tuitt, Heyward, Moats on the field on 1st down, rush the passer if Colts start throwing 1st and 10. One sack or one holding penalty can end a drive.

On offense, use Bell vs. a LB'er in the pass game. Stop throwing the ball 50 yards on 3rd and 1. Use Blount on short yardage to get the 1st. Try one deep pass to Bryant, who is a matchup problem for DB's. Feature AB, Bell and Miller in the passing game. Realize Wheaton right now is a non-factor. Don't run the ball out of the end zone on kickoffs when it is 9 freaking yards deep.

Oh, and defensive backs, TACKLE THE RECEIVER. No whiffs, failed arm tackles, where 5-yard gains become 20 yard gains.

Lock the Colts in their locker room just prior to game time. Pump in toxic gas. Make it look like an accident.

Right now they are trying to find toxic gas/ MT was overheard saying "is that what they mean by execution"

Offense- Gilbert will be out and you know the Colts will be looking to exploit Adams inability to pass block. I am sure Walden, Werner, Redding and company are licking their chops at the matchup. So what I do is I put Spaeth on that side and I let Adams do what he does best and run, playaction, run to the right and help slow up that pass rush of theirs. I also bring Bryant in a few times to help clear out the middle for AB. I send him deep and if the safety doesn't follow throw over top if the safety does follow that should leave someone open in the middle.

Defense- BLITZ, BLITZ, BLITZ, and then BLITZ some more! I don't care if Luck throws for 400 yards because he will likely do that no matter what against us so lets force him into some mistakes and get him out of rythme. Jam at the line of scrimmage. I put McCain on TY Hilton jam and then watch for the ball. Gay on Hicks. Allen on Moncrief. And Shazier on Allen/Fleener/Bradshaw. Again Jam them early then don't play the man play the QB and ball. Yes, they will get yards again but I want picks so I am willing to give up yards between the 20's if it means we get the ball back a few extra times.

Special teams- Stop returning kicks. Our kick/punt cover team is good but our kick/punt blocking is god awful. Take the 20 every time.

I thought Adams did just fine replacing Gilbert. He did ok against Watt. In essance the entire line did ok against this guy who is a great football player. There is a reason he is so highly regarded he is that good. There were plays he made DeCastro just look dumb beating him very easily and DeCastro is a good player. The thing that I liked about the offensive line is the lack of holding calls. They were facing a guy that was a game changer and did not resort to tackling him or the really obvious holds that generally get called all the time. Over all the offense was able to keep going against a good defense while still not being where they need to be as far as execution and development.

I formation, fullback as the lead blocker and hand off the Bell. They won't know what the **** we are doing.
