Oh, boy. According to Dulac and Bouchette he was being disciplined:

Headline -- Sources: Antonio Brown missed practices, game after dispute with teammate

Steelers receiver Antonio Brown did not play in the season-ending game against the Cincinnati Bengals because he elected to sit out practice last week after an unspecified heated dispute with a teammate, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has learned.

Several sources said the Steelers’ decision to not play Brown against the Bengals had nothing to do with any type of knee injury.

The disagreement occurred Wednesday morning during a routine walk-through practice that precedes their regular afternoon practice on the South Side. Brown became disgusted and threw a football in anger at one of his teammates, several sources said.

After that, Brown did not practice the rest of the week. According to a source, it was Brown’s decision not to practice with his teammates.

He did not attend Saturday’s walk-through practice and skipped the Saturday night meeting at the team hotel — the latest in missed meetings by the All-Pro receiver. Brown was never on the field for the start of the game against the Bengals and left Heinz Field at halftime, according to multiple sources.

According to several sources, Brown showed up at Heinz Field expecting to play against the Bengals. That surprised several players, including one who called the situation “embarrassing” and “the worst I’ve seen.” That player said the entire situation and the way it was handled affected his desire to play in the game.

Brown did not practice all week and was listed as questionable on the injury report before the game. When he did not practice on Wednesday, the reason listed on the official report was “coaches decision.” On Thursday, the reason was listed as “coaches decision/knee.”

When offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner was asked about Brown after Thursday’s practice, his short reply was, “I’m not going to answer any questions about Antonio. Next.”

Tomlin said after Friday’s practice that Brown was having his knee tested because his All-Pro receiver “didn’t feel comfortable enough to [practice].” But several sources indicated Brown’s knee wasn’t an issue at all and was never tested.

Brown never even tried to test his knee in pregame warm-ups, despite Tomlin indicating his status for the Bengals would be a game-time decision.

At least one teammate phoned Brown in the days leading up to the game, but he did not return the call.

Kinkabwhala indicating AB and Ben have a beef.

Sounds like Ben told AB to knock off the diva bullshit in Wednesday practice and AB took his ball and went home. Tomlin then disciplined AB by making him a healthy scratch.

This is getting way out of hand and it’s not the Steeler way. I like what AB does on the field but that’s where it ends.
The guy is really not a team first player and it’s always about his numbers.
I still remember when Heath told him to shut the **** up. That’s what the jerk needs.

Madden:

"The guy (Brown) has been a piece of crap since he came out of the womb.....He's a narcissistic piece of crap."

OK...

AB's bullshit definitely contributed to the team's listless, ****** performance against the 'gals according to unnamed players.

I guarantee AB was half assing it during practice and Ben got on him a little bit and AB didn't like it so he threw a fit. My question is why does Tomlin have to lie to everyone about the situation which then lets AB off the hook. Call him out and say he refused to show up to practice. Stop trying to be buddies with your players and demand their respect! I would have respected Tomlin for saying, "he didn't show up to practice all, he will not be playing." Hell, Bellicheck did it with his best CB in the damn SB.

Not impressed with how this has been handled at all.

AB was coddled and protected. I can't imagine why he never learns........

Always some sort of drama. Coaches get these players straightened out already.

AB has always been a diva. Reality is he’s damn good, but he’s not bigger then the team.

His tantrums are no longer acceptable.

This team needs a reboot, and that starts with cool shades.

1st off, shame on Brown, if this is true he is a POS

THIS **** HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN THE LAST 2 YEARS. ONE INCIDENT, its on the player, MULTIPLE INCIDENTS IT'S ON THE HEAD COACH!!!

See Bell skipping **** last year and this year's bs, see Harrison's bs, see Brown videotaping Tomlin giving the p*ts bulletin board material, see the locker room national anthem fiasco in Chicago, see Mitchell and Bell giving the Jags bulletin board material.

Tomlin had his chance to fix this last year....nope!

THE STEELERS ARE A LAUGHING STOCK...BAD REALITY TV, MORE BENGALS THAN PATRIOTS...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIRE TOMLIN!!!

AB didn't show up for last Saturday's walk through before the Saint's game as well. Any accountability on this team? any at all?

Who are these sources? I can make **** up to and say I have sources. Until there are names attached to this report, this is nothing but heresay. And you guys couldn't wait to jump on board.

Welp its on NFL.com too, do you dispute the **** from Bell, Harrison, Mitchell last year??

Where theres smoke there's fire, Tomlin sucks

More drama. Tomlin and his star players. There is no team respect. No I was not there but I think Ju-Ju being named team MVP, over Brown and Ben had something to due with Brown's mood.

Brown for Ramsey straight up?
