Currently at 4,842 yards with one game left. On pace for 5,164 yards thrown.

Only 5 quarterback in the history of the NFL have thrown for more than 5,000 in a season. Not bad for a game manager.

Yep, 5000 yards, two receivers with over 100 catches and 1200 yards plus, a RB without missing 3 games easily has 1100 yards, a TE with what 50 catches 500 yards, best OL in the league, but guess what Coach? They can all get together at Tomlin's house and watch the playoffs together and Cool Shades can provide the food and drinks if he manages to not **** that up too.

They can take turns shining the participation trophy, and pretending next year will be any different.

But hey hey winning seasons everyone !

It's amazing how well BEN plays and yet doesn't get the credit for it. He is the single biggest reason we are even in games. Our head coach has this "no losing season" stat while coaching BEN. I think BEN gives him that stat in spite of being coached by Cool Shades. When Ben is done, TOMLIN will face retire or ruin his "no losing season" stat.

Salute the nation

It's Christmas Eve so I'm not even worried about looking for it, but holy **** that guy has to have a different perspective of Big Ben after that game.

I hope he slings the **** out of that ball next week, and EARNS the NFL passing title outright this time. We know he doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell of getting the MVP, so I hope he gets the passing title.

Ben is one of the most enjoyable players to watch in the league. I'm amazed that people still think he only gets it done because of the talent around him, and there are A LOT of these types. Yet, they are the first to praise Maholmes, Goff, Brees, etc. despite all of those guys being surrounded by offensive weapons. Heck, Ben made it to an AFC Championship game with guys like Rogers, Hamilton, and Coates in the lineup.

He better get team MVP.

I'd rather be talking about his 6th superbowl trophy, Steelers 10th.

It was a dream, but it was a good dream.

Here's hoping AB, Ju Ju, Vance, Wash, Jesse, Jaylen and every pair of hands that can come off the bench helps Ben rack up about 400 + yards against the Bengals.
The NFL wants passing games except they've allowed one of the most exciting QB's to be excluded from the championship tournament because of the ineptitude by the league's certified officiating!
Ponderous.

This impending gloom about what happens after Ben is gone is worrisome, and rightfully so. And it's practically universal -- even the MT nuthuggers will concede that it's probably going to be a tough row to hoe for the Steelers after Ben retires.

What you never hear is any deep concern about a downward spiral when Tomlin leaves...I wonder why?

Jordan is a joke. He did $h!t all game against the Steelers.

Ben totally outplayed Brees in the game, too. No INTs, more TDs, and more yards. I wonder what that peanut brain thinks, now. What a dumb@$$, I hope the Saints don't win the Super Bowl.

When in the last 11 years has anyone reference Ben Roethlisberger as a "game manager"? He's already lead the NFL in passing yards before, this would be potentially #2.

Still -- just like the Drew Brees Saints, all those yards aren't equating to WINS. The Steelers are at their best with balance.

Ben wouldn't get a single vote even if they won both of those games by 20 points.

Ben will never get MVP consideration.

It’s a political media award. Political—not left vs. right; but media talking heads.

They play to the “hot story” — like Cam Newton in 2015. He was the least deserving MVP since McNair. But he was a story.

Ben is smart enough to make up for his youthful stupidity by not “promoting” himself.
