Well I think some sportswriter early this week said he's see the Steelers imploding this season. Well he just might be right. After last week's gift to the Broncos I didn't think we'd be as giving this week but with the help of the officiating this week we managed to snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory! Blowing a 16 point lead in the 2nd half is a first for the Steelers at home....Congrats Tomlin on ******* up a perfect record 220 - 0 - 2 when the Steelers have a 14 point lead or more at Halftime. 4 more games to go this season and I honestly think the Steelers will finish the final quarter of the regular season 1-3 and we might just loose the division lead to the Ratbirds in the final weeks of the regular season. We are on the road to Oakland where we always play like ****.....Forget about the Cheats & Saints they will both hang about 50 - 60 points each on us before we host a really beat up Bungles squad at Heinz to close out the season. So disappointed with this loss........last week stunk this week's loss is even worse because it's at home. Can someone tell my why most of the game Keenan Allen was being covered by a LB'er like LJ Fort or TJ Watt? Is it just me or does anyone else think that's a mis-match?

Game Balls:
Antonio Brown - 10 rec 154 Yd 1 TD

Game Goats:
TJ Watt - No pressure from an OLB......PATHETIC!
Bud Dupree - This guy is a BUM! He flat out SUCKS! No pass rushing skills.....I hope he's not a Steeler after this season. Ola got more pressure in limited time than Dupree has all season....Give Ola a chance!
Heyward, Hargrave, Tuitt - NO ******* PRESSURE! DO YOUR JOB!!!
Sean Davis - Awful angles on some long runs......plus blowing up his fellow teammate Haden who had an easy INT.....instead resulting in a TD catch for Allen.
Chris Boswell - Another Missed PAT.....I lost count but he's been pathetic this season on PAT's
Terrell Edmunds - He's lost out there at times. I can see the first few games as a rookie but this is 12 games now and he still looks lost!
Mike Hilton - Where has this guy been the last 6 weeks? Not getting home on his blitzes and he's a liability in pass coverage
Jon Bostic - 0 Tackles? How is this possible for an ILB? Chargers in the 2nd Half ran right up the middle of the Steelers Defense with effectiveness.

FU's:
FU to the Officiating Crew especially the Line Judge who's main responsibility is to look for False Starts. Well ya missed one....BIG TIME....Chargers RT Tevi took 2 steps before the ball was snapped. Should have been called back....resulted in a TD!
FU for missing the block in the back on the punt return for a TD too.

I'm not sure what to think of this one. I can't ever remember the officiating so deliberately affecting a game. Too many blatant missed calls against LA and phantom calls to kill drives for us.

makes next week a must win or we are done

My order, Tomlin and Butler, Refs were the bigs
Davis, Dupree, Watt though he made some effort plays, Macdonald was bad, Ben on that pick and the missed TD to Hunter.

Burns is another example of Tomlin's ridiculous coaching. Anyone can clearly see he is completely done. Why on earth would you keep him on a roster. He has no confidence. His career as a Steeler is over. Why would you continue to give him a hat.

Im not on the artie burns is trash bandwagon, But I will say his body language , he looks broken, no confidence.

And somewhat of a FU to a player that was one of my favorites. Troy Polamalu not showing up is a real ***** move. For a guy who was the upmost in class when he played. You were done Troy. Football careers rarely end the way you want.

Has he said anything irt the organization since being released? He just struck me as someone who played as a means to an end and would walk away for good after he hung up his cleats. I've been told he likes to fish up near our camp; I keep hoping to bump into him.

I don't think so he has been pretty quiet. He is obviously still mad with Pittsburgh. I am sure he will get over it eventually.

I think Troy has things to say about MT, but he never will. That aside, seems like he could show up, but that is one guy whose motives I will never question. Some fan calling it a ***** move is a ***** move.

If it's just an I'm past football thing ok. If it's an Im unhappy with the way things ended, you can say what you want. It's a ***** move. Same as it was with Terry and his relationship with Pittsburgh after football. Now I believe he did something with football not too long ago where he was an ambassador or something. So I cant say its him going beyond football. Last night is about being with your former teammates and celebrating and being acknowledged for doing something great by the FANS. I think if it was because of his feelings about the end of his career, that is petty. Troy was horrible for over an entire year before his career ended. 3/4 of those guys had difficult ends to their career.

Game balls: Fort and AB
Game goats: Every other player
FU: Tomlin + Butler + Smith + refs

This is the angriest I’ve been since Jesse James caught that ball

Because you don't have anyone better.

Game ball to Fort.

**** everybody else.

Start him. It’s clear he’s and upgrade. I’ve been saying fort should play on passing downs over Williams and Bostic for many games.

Our “ coaches “ finally figured that out.

And while I’m typing Berry had a very good game.

If you cut him you sign someone who at least believes in himself. In the moment I'd say Hilton bumps to corner and you put a backup safety in to play slot corner. Oh wait a minute we are covering slots with middle linebackers. I forgot.

It's such an easy decision though. I mean c'mon. How could you possibly believe Tomlin is going to get you a SB at this point. So it really comes to this. Munchak is my guy for the remainder of Ben's career. He cleans some house on the coaching staff. Fichtner??? Not sure that is a tough one but most everyone else is gone. Then if Munchak cannot produce you hire outside for the rebuild and find your next 20 year guy. So simple.

Bostic can't be a goat when he hardly played. I thought it was Edmunds best game, made some solid hits and had several impactful plays.

What if we don’t make the playoffs and the Ravens pass and win the division.

Would Tomlin be O U T???

Hell no...I remember over a decade of futility before they finally sent Noll packing. And they gave Cowher 13 years after that to win a Superbowl. Remember a lot of frustrating heartbreak during the Cowher era too.

Tomlin won a Superbowl his second year....Got it out of the way.....Never had a losing season yet so that has to be good for 20-25 years of frustration for us Steeler fans the way I see it.
