Peoples, if true he coming back before trade deadline. Might be able to get something more than a third. I'm cautiously optimistic he will contribute if he actually plays. I'm all for nearly anything that produces the "W" but if his attitude just prolongs the shitfizzle we have now, then **** him.

Question is, which one of you believes for one second Shades won't suit him up day 1?
 
He will be out of shape and may take more than 4 weeks to get in football shape this time. Trade him for what you can get for him if you can get better than the 3rd round comp pick. This season is toast with or without him.
 
Hopefully we trade his ***. If not, I don't activate him for the 2 weeks allowed and don't pay him. Then, I sit his *** on the bench with only 3rd team practice time. He doesn't sniff the field. You just can't trust him. He already protected himself in the past and ran out of bounds and avoided taking hits. He's admitted to that. So, why the **** would anyone think he will give even 75% effort. And, if the team continues to play the way they are, they won''t need him. They need to win 9 out of the remaining 12 to even have a chance to make the playoffs. I certainly don't see that happening.

Even stranger LevBell saying to Jeremy Fowler he still hopes to work out long term deal with Steelers after the season and that he wants to retire a Steeler! WHAT THE **** IS THAT?

Is Bell finally being smart with a PR move to save some face or is he actually being serious? I saw on Twitter the Steelers plan to use the transition tag on Bell next offseason, which sorta makes sense.
 
Le'Veon Bell to return to Steelers during bye week

Citing a source, ESPN reported Monday that Bell will join the Steelers during their bye, which starts after they play the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 14.

Bell told ESPN that he still hopes to play with the Steelers beyond this season.

“I could be naïve or hopeful, but at the end of the day I feel like that’s what’s going to happen,” Bell said. “I don’t think they really want me gone. That could be me being prideful. But I’m still holding out hope.”

Without Bell, the Steelers are ranked No. 28 in rushing offense. His replacement, James Conner, had 135 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the opening week, but he has gained a combined 97 yards on 32 carries in the past three games.

Does him coming back help, yes. Does it truely help this team no. There are two major problems I have with this team and it’s efforts to more forward and none of them are bell.

1. The defense (for years now) can’t pressure and can’t cover. Maybe if you could do one, the other gets better. We can’t do either.

2. The offense is pathetic too often given this talent and money spent on this side of the ball.

Blame the FO, coaches, and the players. It doesn’t matter who it’s all of them at this point.
