Franco was last week's winner. This week I'm concerned about the offense's ability against the best defense they have faced yet in the middle of a stretch of 6 quarters without a TD. I got a bad feeling about this one and I hope I'm wrong.

Defense actually shows a little more in the way of fundamentals and pride. That said, Ben has to pull a TD out of his *** with under a minute left to get a win

Tomlin is mailing it in. The players have no direction and a team captain has voiced concern over the practice routine.

I have seen what a rebuilding team looks like before.......but I think the Steelers have a shot here. There are going to be growing pains with a young team and unlike some I think the talent is there.

Carolina is not as good as they were last year. I'm not so sure we are either, but I think we have half a chance this week.
 
I don't like this game for the Steelers. Panthers have 2 very good RBs, a mobile QB and a very good defense.

Ben gets sacked a record 16 times, the defense shows why Auburn paid the big bucks for Cam and the Panthers win 38-10.

Just pessimistic blabbering but nowadays nothing surprises me.

This is after holding the Panthers scoreless in the first half. We will see how bad Mr Tomlin is at making adjustments and how a coach like Riverboat Ron provides his players with direction and leadership.

Not as much outside zone this week should help the run game.
Thiink we get a couple of sacks this week too.
Look for Wheaton and Brown to have a big night.

I've seen rebuilding as it was done with this team in the early 80's with aging veterans and sub-par rookies - but we still had a coach at the time. Now we have Tomlin. Cannot figure this team out at all but I'm going with Carolina 28 - 16
