I think CMT wanted to stress his point. Stating forward progress is auto no challenge, but he was pleading his case that it was the wrong call..

It would be nice if the defense could get the ball (again) and hopefully this time the refs don’t steal it from us.

It was a BS call....if it was a real forward progress call the ref would have immediately whistled. The whistle happened after Williams had the ball. The confusion between the refs generated the BS call to save face.

Just a question, not a slam. But, do you have anything to say about the game that isn't about Tomlin? Maybe the poor play of our QB (or why it isn't poor play), AB's concentration ... anything?
