Raiders to Vegas in 2020. That Super Bowl in Vegas when it gets awarded is going to be absolutely nucking futz.

Will be good to never see the Oakland Coliseum again, don't think we've won a game there since the mid 90s.

Oakland Collesum. What a **** hole. Same with the rest of Oakland. What a sorry *** franchise. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

once a Super Bowl is played in Vegas, and the NFL sees the money they'll undoubtedly get from that, it'll be difficult to envision a scenario where the Super Bowl is played anywhere else.

All I know is the first chance I get to go see the Steelers there it is on. Two of my favorite things are the Steelers and Vegas. ****** that the break isn't clean. WTF are the people of Oakland supposed to do with a team that won't be there's in 3 or 4 years. Stupid.

My mom lives there. She is a glowing example why not to live in Vegas.

Most traveled team in the NFL.

The Nfl has made Oakland the red headed step child of the league. It continues, they will be watched everything they do by God del.

Missoula MT to LV, cheapest flight around. If I wasn't boycotting the NFL it would be a fairly cheap weekend. Denver games are still the cheapest for me though (FREE)

I think it's a damn shame.

That's three franchises to have moved this year. Damn shame for all the fans who spent their hard earned money to support their teams just to have the rug pulled out from under them.

I saw this earlier NFL= No Fan Loyalty. I have to agree.

Once the move I dont think they should be allowed to be called the Raiders, Goodell in 2022 will reward a expansion team once some investor can lay funds to build a new stadium afterall the Warriors are moving to san fran in 2019, you tear both stadiums and a big time investor can build a great stadium there.

I'm assuming son of the crypt keeper still owns the majority so the name is going with them for sure, but definitely agree with what you are saying.

Suddenly Las Vegas has both the NFL and NHL

NEVER been to Vegas in my life. I don't gamble or drink. When the STEELERS play there I will be able to get the cheapest air fare ever. So I might have to go to one of those games. Me and a few friends, it will be AWESOME I think.

Next home of the Rams.

I'll be interested what happens to airfare and hotel prices on game weekends. Ticket prices will be interesting too. Small local base with a fair distance to other major cities. They really will be relying on visiting team in my opinion.

As long as the economy stays somewhat stable, Vegas will be just fine. And yes, on football weekends, hotel prices will escalate, they do for any major convention held there.
I usually drive up once a year for a work related seminar. Fun to visit for a few days, but no way would I want to live there.

Gave it up about 12 years ago. Have had this MB name 25years. Been on this board for a VERY long time, somewhere around 2004 I think, maybe earlier.(memory clouded). Use to in the old days but not so much in today's age. I don't judge those that do or don't as I only make my decisions based for me. I do have a PASSION for the STEELERS that dates back to 1968 and that is my glue and comrodary-ism. ABSOLUTELY glad to be a part of this MB as it is the greatest, most knowledgeable / kindest / kewlest / and filled with characters of both ends of extreme. I have more pride of this place than when the AMERICANS confronted the 300 SPARTANS at Tripolee and instead of fighting, we tipped our hats.

I love the move. The Raiders are so Vegas. Vegas is actually an event town, so I think they will be okay on attendance.
