Cardinals agreed to terms with OLB Jarvis Jones, formerly of the Steelers.

Jones was supposed to visit the Rams next, but the Cardinals wouldn't let him leave without a deal. Jones has been a disappointment as the No. 17 overall pick of the 2013 draft, but is coming off his best season. He'll be playing in a 3-4 defense similar to Pittsburgh's. Jones provides zero pass-rushing upside, but is decent enough at setting the edge.

Good luck, happy trails

AZ. Of course.

Very glad. Did not want him back on the team. 4 years is more than enough time to prove your worth. Buh bye!

I prefer Chickillo than him so good bye Jarvis

Any chance he can be like Will Gay? Spend 1 year there and then come back and be a completely different player? Yeah probably not.

I think they felt he'd be back.

Not mad he's gone by any means, but we are suddenly very thin at LB.

They were thin at LB with Jarvis. This forces them to move in a different direction, which is probably a good thing.

Best way to grade draft choices is how much they get in their 2nd contracts (if they get one at all).

Jarvis Jones got a 1-year deal. And I bet it is under $3 million.

so wonder what the plan is? Fill from within with Chickilo & co?

Free agency seems out of the question.

Rookie starter, seems out of the question.

Deebo can help, but he cant carry the load for the whole season

karma for the avatar.
I think a high pick rookie can see spot duty to rest Harrison.

Also getting rid of Moats and getting a better FA would be great for insurance

I understand. Bottom line though is at the very least he provided depth and could play special teams. We're gonna have to make up for that and at this point it looks like it's gonna be through the draft. We have other spots to fill so are we going to have to spend a pick to do so that we might have been able to use on the offensive side of the ball.

Good Luck, Uncle Jarvis

What a truly wasted ******* pick in 2013 draft. We needed to hit a home run but instead struck out with the bases loaded. This guy was truest worthless. Too weak to play in this league.

About time someone besides us REALIZed his potential!!!!!!!! Good for you uncle Jarvis as you went forth and found reward. Now that you are no longer a STEELERS player, I want to thank you for all the heart and soul of the GREAT player that you were while you played here. THE LEADERSHIP ROLE YOU TOOK ON WAS AMAZING AND FROM YOUR ROOKIE YEAR. Hard to put to words all the historical plays you put together out on the field of battle. You Uncle Jarvis are ....why I .......w....wwaat.........whatch the ******* game !!!!!!!!!

Ouch! Uncle Jay Jay was bad. But was he that bad? Lol. Agreed though

Jones just didn;t have what it took in our system. Maybe he succeeds in Arizona. I can't see it happening myself but he always seemed to give 100% and seemed like a stand up guy off the field so good luck to him.

A very pedestrian career in the Burgh....which is fine for a 3rd or 4th Round pick. Not so much for your 1st Rounder.

Same plan as last year in the secondary where the rookies gradually played more and more and then were starters at years end. Draft (the right guy this time), learn from Deebo, start splitting reps, then take over.

Eh. The writing on the wall was there at UGA too. He has a high motor, but the strength and fundamental skill set isn't there. Could it be his stenosis? Maybe. He does have an awesome bull rush, but the over pursuit doesn't work in the nfl
