Bryant speaks to SI

We'll see. If he has grown up,....look out.

He's right he's on his last chance. This offense would be very scary with Bryant, along with way Rogers and Ayers seem to be catching on

I'm not counting anything until the dude gets reinstated and shows up in Latrobe. Until then, I pay no attention whatsoever.

I wasn't very fond of his comments towards Ben. Seemed like an I don't owe you anything attitude that isn't needed when you just let 52 other men plus all of Pittsburgh down.

I agree.. and when you lie to someone who you call a leader, I think you should explain and apologize. That's called being accountable, then you can move on.

Especially when Ben called or text him every day when he was in Houston to encourage him.

Ehhh I understand his stance. I mean- he technically has already apologized.

I would expect that he would apologize to the coaches and the Rooney's in person (e.g. his bosses), but I don't think he needs to go to his teammates and beg for forgiveness.

A pass rusher. A pass rusher and Ben Boulware.

We become the most complete team in the NFL from 2017-2020, barring injury.

I know it is a cultural thing and I guess I come from another place & time when smoking boo was fun (late '60's early '70's), but if somebody is going to pay me six figures to play football on the condition I stay away from cannabinoids? :uglyhammer:

He last smoked eight months ago, he said, meaning May of 2016.

He was suspended in March of 2016.

So he kept smoking dope for two months after he received a year-long suspension. Genius.

I'll venture to say that Bryant will not finish the year next season. He has an addiction and until he can have a total transformation I don't trust he'll remain clean. And it's only an issue because of his profession. We have a Ricky Williams on our hands.

Depends on when the article was actually written. Not when it was published. They show Bryant coaching H.S. football .. That season has been over for more than a month to a month and a half in many places.

Get the best you can out of flthe two years he has left in his rookie contract. Then let him go, he can't be trusted

I like the video part of the interview. He seems sincere and remorseful about the year lost. Looks like he put on a lot of weight in the weight room. Hopefully it won't slow him down. We seen these kind of guys come back and fall back into their old habit. Hopefully he will be the exception and continue to play at a high-level for the Steelers.

Remember the San Diego receiver who got into the HGH big time...

David something or other... His freakin' HEAD actually did get bigger. Who was that. I can't quite remember. Dude got ******* HUGE. He used to be a good receiver and he literally got too ******* big to be a receiver anymore.

Martavis speaking isn't even a thought for me until he's still on the active roster come 2018 playoff run (atta boy!!!) or suspended again (figures...)

He's definitely worked his way into the need to earn some trust category, I think the vast majority are in the "I'll believe it when I see it " frame of mind.

Shame, with all that potential

I have no problem with the Steelers giving him one more chance. But if they' re smart they will proceed moving forward like he isn't on the team.

Because any given moment he could be gone.

Still sounds like an idiot "me first" person. I don't see any reason from that interview to think he will work out long term in any way. Hope he does but I ain't holding my breath.

Not everyone deserves a second chance, but every young person does.

No doubt. But this would be his fourth or fifth chance. Remember that he missed the first 6 games of 2014 due to positive pot tests? And that he was suspended four games in 2015 due to positive drug tests?

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...ed-for-multiple-failed-marijuana-tests-082815

And now has missed an entire season due to more positive-or-missed drug tests?

That is a lot of chances he has already blown.

So, yes, I hope he kills it next year. I hope he stays off the weed. I hope he catches 70 passes in 2017.

But I would not be surprised in the least if he fails another test.
