Ben threw passes today... He's def super human.

Sent from my SM-G930V using Steeler Nation mobile app

Was there ever any doubt! I hate to think what its going to be like around here after he retires. I hope we address this in the off season.

Should he be? We don't even have a game this week. Heal up, white man from town. Heal up.

WTF does Ben being white have to do with anything? Seriously, if he was black/latino or any other race, you wouldn't want him to heal up? SMDH

Guys, I can't believe I'm doing this, but this is a memorable line from a Stephen King story, thinner, a tribe of nomads (I think they may have been gypsies) call the man who comes to see them (he has been cursed by one of them) "white man from town". It's an 80's movie I believe, but the quote does stick in your head if you've ever seen the movie. Settle down, it's not a dig at anything.

Gee whiz, someone who doesn't freak out from a simple, memorable movie quote. For some reason, I like to use the "White man from town" quote. Steelbuckeye, think you may want to chill a tad.. :smile2:

Here is the movie clip. I just like it. The movie was just on TV recently. And it was made in 1996.

Without seeing the passes I'd offer caution to those who think he's going to play vs. the Ravens as he was throwing the ball in the Dolphins game too with the injury.

One setback, and there's goes our season. The Bye week came at the perfect time for the Steelers. Tomlin should be coy here to keep the Ravens guessing, but not rush Ben back and risk further injury. The Ravens games are always physical with some of their players a bit dirty.

If needed go with Landry Jones again, and give Ben an extra week of rest & rehab. Just please no more bone head coaching calls.

Thanks T we needed that! That's the first thing that came to me when he quoted that line was that its from the movie Thinner. I never took it as a shot to anyone at any time. As our good friend Landry would say, "don't panic".

Wasn't hot. Having never watched the movie, I didn't get the reference. That will happen when using quotes from movies that not everyone will have seen. I imagine the reaction shouldn't have been unexpected.

Um, Im sure the doctor's arent dumbasses

Good to see #7 throwing some passes. Don't rush him back. I think the Steelers can reel off a win without him

What an awful movie lol

Actually, I liked it. Not saying it is a great "film" but it was entertaining. But we like the horror genre. I especially like the segment of the movie when Joe Mantegna's character comes in to apply mob muscle to help his buddy.

Stephen King movies are never done well only a select few carried over to film well.

I want whatever you're smoking, LOL

Be careful what you wish for......................!!!!!!

I'm in that catagory too, the one that is confident enough we can beat the rats with out Ben Rothlesberger.
