Passed Joe Montana in yards and became the first QB to EVER have 3 different guys (ward, miller, brown)with 500+ catches in a career.

That was great. Still will probably need a SB MVP or league MVP to get a HOF nod

Great game Ben. Stay healthy and Keep doing what you do.

Just a game manager.

I would put money on the fact he gets in first ballot no matter if he wins another SB or not. Ben has already made his case for the hall.

Congrats to Ben. He'll break a few more records before he hangs up his cleats.

No BoatGuy. If you look at Ben's numbers across the board he's frickin ridiculous.

Yards per attempt
Yards per completion
Tds per pass
Tds to Ints
Completion %

He's ******* amazing. He's not just among the top of the current NFL players, in many categories, Ben is among the best to ever play the game. And then you add stuff like the above stat. He's not just a lock, He's getting really close to first ballot don't even think about it. If it weren't for his youthful dumb-assery this wouldn't even be a momentary consideration at any level whatsoever.

Seriously. Go look at his career stats and compare them across the board to all the other QBs ever. You get a real quick understanding of what we have in Ben Roethlisberger.

It doesn't seem so amazing right at first, but what you have to truly understand is that Ben throws the ball almost as accurately as the cheater, but he throws it so much further every ******* time he releases the ball. And for much of his career he threw it much less often than cheater and Brees and the other stat ******. Had Ben been throwing the ball as often as he has been the last 5 or 6 years his entire career, his numbers would utterly destroy everyone else.

He has improved somewhat in his accuracy, true, but he was still accurate enough that were he throwing the ball 35 to 40 times a game the first 4 or 5 years of his career he'd have SO many more yards, TDs etc. that cheater et al would be ******** their pants every time they looked at him sideways.

And let's not even talk about intangibles. But enough... You can go look up the numbers yourself. It's truly illuminating.

AMEN brother, Ben gets zero respect , he sure looked in control tonight , I was surprised of the 500 catches record and all time TD status. He gets thrown down by the shoulder pads and he never get the roughing call. Great game and some really great check down throws completed or not when it sure looked he was going down,

That play where the snap was low, he had to dig it up from between his feet and then chucked a perfect lob to Coates for what ended up a 40+ yarder with no hesitation whatsoever...

That's a freaking Golden God right there.

Throw in the fact that this is the best offensive line he's had since Faneca, Marvel, Hartimgs, etc.... were on the roster, this has all the makings of a signature season. Praying for no injuries.

Still have to thank the Browns for passing over Ben and drafting Winslow

When they drafted Ben I said who is this Nobody QB? Are they crazy drafting this jobber?

Now I am glad they did.

Well done Ben, keep making me eat my words.

Great job by Big Ben and his receivers and how about Deangelo Williams. WOW!!!!!

Good O performance overall. But have to give it up for Ben and Antonio and Dwill, solid trifecta !

He certainly gets a lot of respect from Gruden and other former QB's who really understand the game. Sometimes we need to be careful who we listen to.

I think you have to respect the fact that early in the game the Skins were focusing a lot of attention on Brown and Rodgers despite one mistake, which honestly he can be forgiven in his first game, started making some plays and the defense had to respect Eli too.

Then when DeAngelo got rolling with Haley sticking to the run... Well. There you have it. Well played coaches and fellas, well played.

The up tempo, running and O-line wore the skins down. Fatigue is always a factor early in the year and we definitely exploited it last night.

I don't Ben got respect in the past, but those days are over. I consistently hear his name mentioned in conversations about the top QB's in e else. His name gets thrown I there with Brady, Bree's, and Rodgers. He gets the Cam Newton and Shaq treatment in terms of calls. Because he is so big and physically gifted, he tends not to get the calls that others guys get. Doesn't diminish his greatness. He was a freak last night.

I have to say that for a span after we lost the SB to GB, I lost confidence in Ben. He didn't seem to deliver like he used to, but the last couple years (since Haley came on board) he has grown by leaps and bounds.

His body of work is not complete! Let Ben continue to do his thing, and the stats/accomplishments etc. will speak for him when he's through. He will be ranked up there pretty high no doubt. Go Steelers!

It's telling, though, that after the game the social media trending was all over Brown and Williams, and Ben didn't show up in the top 5. People are stupid.
