Steelers officials on hand at the Jags/Bucs game. They are one of a few different team that was given credentials. Not sure who they are looking at since we play neither team.

If I was to guess it would be Brandon Allen. They brought him in for a predraft visit and Jax likely only keeps 2 QBs.

The thing is Glennon is the backup and they have no one behind him. Do you trade your backup qb and leave nothing to backup Winston?

Jax is likely planning on trying to stash Allen on the PS. If not he's probably the first cut if anyone gets injured.

Brandon Allen is from R-kinsaw. Aint no good never come outta R-kinsaw. He was also just drafted.

Glennon, however, is in the final season of his rookie contract. Bucs will likely not resign him.

I'd take Glennon over Landry every Sunday of the week, a few Thursdays and a couple Saturdays.

But what are we going to offer that's more valuable than a backup QB for a year? Do we have to give up a 4th or 5th? That's kinda spendy when he's likely a one and done with us. 7th? Do you trade your backup QB for a 7th round pick? I sure wouldn't unless my 3rd string was a stud. I'd say Henne is more likely if Allen is looking good and Jax only wants to keep two.

Trade away! Who gives a **** what it costs.

Just get that worthless Landry Jones OFF MY TEAM!

Can I get an Amen?

It could be Bucs TE Sefarian-Jenkins. Rumor is that he has some attitude issues and the Bucs may look to move him since they have another TE, Brate, that they like. Steelers usually try to steer clear of guys like that but if Green can't play and they still don't trust Coates, then they need another playmaker on offense.

Bucs also have Brandon Myers and Luke Stocker at TE who are pretty good.

Jags have Henne and they may be willing to part with WR Marqise Lee who is 4th on their depth chart.

If that's the case green might never suit up for the black and gold. I guess it's a thought and probably a desperate move to save face by the FO.

How much value have we gotten from the average 4th or 5th round pick?

I hope we can snag a decent back up qb in case our "straw that stirs the drink" gets hurt for a few games. Of course this teams goals of winning championships live and die with it's qb being able to do his thing with what could easily be a record breaking offense this year. Our wanna be rap star pot smoking rb needs to get his head out of his *** and grow up a little as well.

I would imagine they have sent scouts to a lot of places with the cuts coming up.

Would love to have him. I think he was very solid qb who suffered under multiple coaching changes and shot teams. Not saying he is the next great but very solid backup

In other words, better than a burning dumpster which describes our backup QBs.

so where is the source that we sent someone to the Jags/Bucs game?
