Super Bowl 50 game thread.

A brutally bad call that leads to a td for Denver. How could the ref not see that the ball never touched the ground?

Screwed twice... First of catch, second miller hit newton in the head.

They aren't trying very hard on the commercials.

Horrible. Just horrible how they didn't call that a catch. The fix is in.

I thought Carolina had a good line ... they're letting a lot of pressure in

Cam is not looking very MVPish

Just like I predicted, stage is too big for a mediocre passer like Newton. He is dumb and can't read defenses and the college offense he runs is easy to stop by Wade Phillips

I guess our like is better i didn't see any jail breaks like this against us

22-2 not too bad going back to end of last year

That wasn't a catch. It touched the ground as he was rolling over and the ball was moving the whole time. The only way ball can touch the ground and still be a catch is if there is a clean possession. He never had clean possession until after the ball touched the ground.

The fact Mike Carey thought it was a catch is proof it wasn't.

There's your make up call.

I think it's more that nobody has any ******* idea what constitutes a catch in this league any more. There need to be some HUGE clarifications in the off season about what is and isn't a catch. They over complicate everything. They need to erase every shred of change on a catch they have made in the past 10 years ago and go back to what a catch was then. Those rules were just fine.

I agree. I saw the point hit the ground when he landed which was evident when the ball popped loose from his control.

Terrible call on taunting. They were just jawing back and forth. Talib was on his sideline so he was allowed to take off his helmet.

By the letter of the law the second the ball touched the ground he couldn't bobble it at all... And he did... But lets face it... That kind of concentration ought to be acatch

Agree... Can't call chicken **** stuff like that in a Super Bowl.

I didn't see the ball touch the ground and they showed two angles. Over now, but DEN did make the most of it.

How is it that no DBs from any of the teams Den plays just break on those wobbling ducks Peyton throws now?

I can't help but think Manning is gonna get picked, probably more than once.
