Thing is, if they won the SB they would probably both retire. Since they lost they will probably be back next year.
In the book "Spygate: The Untold Story" it details how their away record is on par with other good teams but their home record is so far outside statistical norms that it defies description.

No, Brady has said he wants to play until he is 40 or older. There was no way he was retiring.
 
I only wish the missed x-tra point was the one at the end of the game with all the white trash Pats fans thinking it was a forgone conclusion the game was tied-up.

That woulda been a real wicked pissah!

Asterisks fans annoy me because, every time they lose, someone has to take the "blame" or be "responsible"... How bout the Denver D annihilated you? No individual player or unit blew the game. The other team BEAT YOU

I'm sure we do it too.. but I do believe we are just as good at giving credit to teams who beat us as we are to destroying Tomlin or whoever after a loss
 
I predicted that missed XP would cost them the game the second it happened!

I would agree with you if something has actually been done about the Pats cheating. Since nothing has been done, if I was another team, I'd take matters into my own hands and screw with them every chance I got. I could care less what they say.
 
So the Great Patriot Team with the Greatest Head Coach and QB ever, couldn't overcome one missed point in the first quarter? How about bitching that Belicheat decided against going for FG's late in the 4th instead going for it on 4th down twice?
Gostkowski should tell the fans to **** off and ask to be traded or released, he'd have no trouble finding another job, see how the fans would like that.
 
Another thing.

Just more proof that whoever thought up twitter was to busy asking themselves if they could, when they should have been asking themselves if they should.

It is a breeding ground for behind the screen tough guys.

You are not following the script. Its always Tomlin's fault when we lose. Don't do that again.
 
The Cheatriots bandwagoners need to go off on Hoodie for not kicking the field goal and going for it on that 4th down late in the 4th quarter.

Anyone else think that was the wrong call?

Eh, the decision to go for it 4th and 1 down by 8 points in a game in which you couldn't be sure you would get tino Denver territory 2 more times to kick two more FGs or score a TD. I would have been cheering for Tomlin to go for the 1st down on 4th and 1, there is no way of knowing you're getting the ball back and being able to move on the Denver defense. You have to think that you can get 1 yard even against the Denver defense. Once they went for it on 4th and 1 the first time, they had no choice but to try again on 4th and 6 a few minutes later. The Denver defense won the plays it needed to win and the Patriots offense couldn't win when it needed to win. The decisions were not the problem.

The thing that got me the most, and I've read other teams material before, is the fans wishing the kicker and his wife get raped until they bleed out. Then the one about the kickers kids getting cancer. That is some morbid stuff right there. At least when we want an opposing team to **** off and die, we all wish by natural causes !!!!!!! Thes Mass/holes are definately a tear dropping bunch.

My wife is working with a doctor from Mass. She and her whole family are drunk on the pats**** kool-aid.

She actually told my wife that cheating is part of football and that it's really not cheating at all when you steal playbooks, ransack locker rooms and hotel rooms, bug the locker rooms, mess with comms, deflate footballs....the pats**** do all this because "they're smarter and want to win more"...and then she laughs and gives the "you wouldn't understand" dismissive hand wave.

Their fans feed off of the arrogance and cheating like it is manna.
 
The Pats kicker is unbelievably good and has been for many years. I can't imagine the kind of lowlife that would send hate mail / Tweets to him. They didn't lose the game because of a missed extra point in the first half.

Things will get really interesting when a game truly is decided by a missed extra point. Imagine if Super Bowl 50 turns out to be an amazing game...Cam Newton leads 2 late drives to pull the Panthers to 35-34 after being down 35-21 with just 6 minutes to go...Cotchery catches a 15-yard TD with 2 seconds left in the game...looks like overtime until Panthers placekicker Gano shakes the extra point that would have tied the game at 35...

My complaint is simple - since I didn't have a dog in the fight - but, it's on Denver. WHY IN THE H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS DID YOU NOT HAVE Aqib Talib on Gronk instead of mini, partially broke, Chris Harris Jr.??? That bold move almost lost them the game...

Notice how Talib played Gronk on the last play in the EZ - the bomb getting them the TD to nearly tie the game would have never happened...IMO...

I said the same thing last week - get one score NOW and get the ball back. Getting stuffed on 4th down is depressing and hard to get over...
 
IMO they should've kicked the FG to pull within 5 with 6+mins left, all their timeouts and Denver's O was in turtle mode.
