Now THAT was good coaching. Tomlin and Co. earned their money tonight

Osweiller and company did their homework and had our zone figured to a tee in the first half. Broncos were running wild in the Steeler secondary. But the adjustments made at halftime shut their ***** down. On the other side of the ball, our stifled and harassed offense started breaking down the best defense in the NFL.

Our defense was ICE COLD on the final Denver drive.

Tomlin and staff have put the whole NFL on notice that Pitt is for real. Ben's late pick not withstanding.

And will somebody PLEASE make a gif out of Tomlin shooting the camera after the go-ahead touchdown?
 
Solid coaching today. Solid play. And everyone just remaining cool and calm getting it done. Way to go!
 
I hope they continue to play up and challenging like that on D. And leave Blake on the bench.

THIS. After letting Denver *** rape them in the first half, they did the *** raping in the second half. The only thing I do not understand is why Blake continues to start, and play meaningful minutes. The guy sucks in coverage and tackling. I don't get it at all. Rarely saw him in the second half and the results speak for themselves. The guy shouldn't see the field the rest of the way.

The D adjusted and the O-line came out and played like an entirely energized unit...gatorade? Pickle juice? Whatever...awesome.
 
Remember the Titans....Remember the Steelers!

I don't know what was said at half time but it reminded me of "Remember the Titans". An O that's was scorching us in the first half was totally shut down in the second half. Let's hope they play that style of D the rest of the year. If so, the sky is the limit.

There's a saying for this; it's not how you start, it's how you finish. Kinda how we usually make fun of the bungholes for winning games in September and October. I've come to agree with your feelings on tomlin and co. However, this was a solid win.
