Dem Presidential Debate

Chafee has been trying to attack Hillary since he first announced, and I'm sure he'll try again during the debate. The problem is that he comes across as if he spent his entire childhood chewing on lead paint chips, so no one will even notice what he's saying....

Holy **** that was funny.

Lets not forget it was CNN Anchor Candy Crowley that interrupted Mitt Romney and "fact checked" the presidential candidate during a debate.

Not only was it an unconscionable and incredibly brazen act by a debate moderator, she could not have been more wrong on the facts.

It makes me wonder why the stupid party would ever agree to participate in a debate on CNN.

Yet there they were and EVERY question Jake Tapper asked for 3 freaking hours was designed to have a republican attack another republican. Apparently CNN cannot have 3 hours of prime time allocated to republicans attacking democrats, so they rigged the questions so Republicans attacked other Republicans.

Then dumped that format after the debate was widely panned and just in time for the Democrats debate.

This is going to be a Democrat/Media lovefest. And most libs will be saying, look at how civilized our candidates are compared to those predatory Repubs. And they will never, ever, realize that the whole thing was crafted to get that result. Welcome the the new United States, where it is more important to have the media voting for you, instead of the people.

"We can GOVERN!!!"......will be the media spin

Predictions: A lot of softball questions intended to allow the candidates to compare themselves favorably with Republicans
.

We do not appreciate your brand of humor young lady....

Gonna drink everytime I hear "pay their fair share", and "common sense gun control".

TIm Steelers fan will have to verify this but I believe O'malley is the Maryland Governor that signed the Rain Tax in to law.

My Bet is they will all bend over backwards promising more government programs(and bigger government) paid for by money that they get from making you evil 1%ers pay your fair share of taxes.

Sorry for the delay. I'm happy to speak about that piece of ****...errr...that former Governor, Martin O'Malley. Yes, the magical leader who instituted a tax to tax Marylanders on rain. Let me repeat. We are taxed on rain. Let that sink in if you doubt the absurd lengths to which Libtards will work to extract money from your pocket before poorly respending it.

Here is a list of some of the taxes he instituted while Governor:

Below is a comprehensive list of the major tax increases championed by O’Malley while serving as Maryland’s governor:

2013:
Gasoline tax increase from 23.5 cents per gallon to 43.5 cents (fully phased in by 2016): $350 million
Additional contingent fuel tax rate increase tied to failure of Congress to pass Marketplace Fairness Act: $210 million
Indexing of fuel tax to CPI: $87 million

2012:
Flush tax hike: $53 million
Tax hike on smokeless tobacco and “Little Cigars”: $5 million
Elimination of Telecom Property Tax Credits (Corporate Income Tax): $7.4 million
Elimination of personal exemptions (Individual Income Tax): $51.7 million
Income tax hikes on individuals making over $100,000 and couples over $150,000: $195.6 million

2011:
Highway and Bridge toll increases: $90 million
Vehicle titling tax hike from $50 to $100: $52.4 million
Hospital provider tax: $390 million
Alcohol sales tax hike from 6-percent to 9-percent: $84.8 million

2008:
The Millionaires Tax pushes top marginal rate from 5.5-percent to 6.25-perent: $154.6 million

2007
Senate Bill 2 - Real property transfer tax hike: $14.1 million.
House Bill 5 – “Tip Jar” tax hike, 20-percent “Admissions and Amusement” tax: $8 million
Tobacco tax hike from $1 per pack to $2 per pack: $133 million
Vehicle excise tax hike: $36.9 million
Vehicle titling tax hike (bumped from $23 to $50): $23 million
Sales tax hike from 5-percent to 6-percent: $603.4 million
Income tax hike with new rates between 4.75-percent and 5.5-percent: $191.3 million
State corporate income tax hike from 7-percent to 8.25-percent: $118.6 million
Eliminated use of captive real estate investment trusts for income tax purposes: $10 million

The tax increases above represent the most significant increases signed into law by Gov. O’Malley. The Maryland House Republican Caucus has compiled a list of all taxes, tolls, and fee increases signed into law by Martin O’Malley for a grand total of 83.

His claim to fame is signing into law 83 new taxes. He's no different than Dictator Jerry in California, destroying his state through ridiculous taxation.

The result? Baltimore has some of the worst schooling in the country, and one of the worst economies. And businesses? 8,000 businesses fled Maryland, unemployment doubled and we lost 25,000 jobs.

But hey, O'Malley's stench was so bad that we were able to elect a Republican in this ****-hole Democratic state. The sad news...the legislature is so full of Democrats, that when Larry Hogan (R Governor) tried to repeal the rain tax...it failed.

Yep, we're stuck being taxed on rain.

If that ******* O'Malley can gain any traction by pointing to his "track record" in Maryland, then America is far more uneducated and manipulated than I gave her credit for.

Trump is going to live tweet/facebook during the debate. That will be fun...

Gonna drink everytime I hear "pay their fair share", and "common sense gun control".

I'm a little surprised that you yinzers haven't come up with a Libtard debate bingo card. What's a bingo cad..25 squares ?

ER4P has two good ones but they can be two separate issues ( gun control & common sense) and there has to be a lot more. I can think of a couple.

1. pay their fair share
2. common sense
3. gun control ( I think they will say reform even though we know better )
4. equal pay for women
5. immigration reform
6. out of control police
7. Planned Parenthood
8. women's right to choose
9. right wing conspiracy
10. Republican talking points
11. climate change
12. fair minimum wage
13. nothing illegal or even fundamentally wrong
14. shoulda, woulda, coulda
15. free
16. track record
17. tea party
18. George Bush
19. job growth
20. struggle
21.income inequality

No no, you forgot, it's not called gun control anymore, it's called "common sense gun safety measures". Control sounds way too governmenty.

Don't forget "income inequality" for the win.

You also have to mention "struggle" because only Dems are down with the struggle.

None of these candidates watch Fox News, so they aren't aware of any "real" scandals.

I really do not see how the Democrats can even debate. They should just stand up there smiling and waving, considering how well off America is after the Obama presidencies. They should just say they'll keep things as they are.

AMIRITE?

true. nickelodeon doesnt carry news.
and since steven colbert has taken over for jon stewart, they know not where to get their "facts"
