Steelers vs. Rats game thread

At the end they played to win and we lost in then fundamentals including kicking game better luck next week. Take care all see u all in ten days.. Peace, win or lose.. Steeler I am..
 
Good night Steeler faithful. Glad we could "save" the Ravens season tonight with the worlds shittiest kicker on the Baltimore payroll. Just a terrible turn of events.

Considering Scooby's misses I think that was the right call. Simms is still saying they should have kicked but he must have been watching a different game.
 
They give this game away, what a ******* joke. Switch kickers and this game isn't even close.

Can't believe for one yard they didn't give the ball to Bell..one yard..and you trust the guy who had one practice.. I would of never kicked it.. scobee ******* sucks. Can believe we lost this game.
 
The call to go for it was OK ... the play called was ******* terrible. Give the ball to Bell ... With a Scobee attempt from 50 yards the only other alternative .. you go for it
 
LOL at that ***** Harbaugh acting like they deserved to win, I'd love to punch that ****** in the head.

Bell barely touched the ball in the second half, what the **** were they thinking. **** Baltimore.

This loss is solely on Haley and Scobee... Terrible play calling

Some of Haley's bad calls are on Tomlin. The head coach decides when you are going on 4th. When he's in those situations a good coach will tell his OC that they are going for it on 4th before he calls the 3rd down play. If haley knows they're going on 4th, i bet he would call a run with Bell on 3rd and he'd probably get the yardage or damn close because most defenses these days are thinking pass on 3rd, even if it's 3rd and short.
 
Once again the Rats walk away with a lucky victory we hand to them with Ben on the sideline.

A big part of this clusterfuck was Haley's decision to stop rolling Vick out. Also doesn't call Bell's number in a short yardage situation when he'd been tearing it up ... why that stubborn *** decides to go away from what is working is beyond me.

If you only see Tomlin as the reason we lost I can't help you..like I said I don't agree with every decision the coaches make..I pointed out instances where I would of done something different as I do in every game thread. But Scobee has to make those kicks that's what this game came down too..harbaugh went for it and came up short too. But his kicker made his kicks..

And you know that Haley wasn't given a heads up how? The OC, seeing that Scobee was a POS should have already been thinking ahead.

I'm not sure why you even respond to them, they already had their blame Tomlin for loss before the game even started. Short sightedness and without reason is typical on this board. Don't even ask why they're blaming Tomlin, you'll just get the whole "unprepared" template.

Next up is SD away on Monday so the Steelers have 11 days to get more in sync on offense and to expand the playbook for Vick. With all things considered, he had a good game, just that some of the calls were horrible. The second to last 4th down attempt should've went to Bell, not a QB keeper.
 
Oh well, gotta take the dogs out ... good night all.
