I suspect both ends of the political spectrum have selective memories depending on which party is currently in power. It's a natural response, hypocritical, but understandable. That's not to condone it, because it only deflects from the issues facing our nation today, the mess in Iran, securing our election process, out of control government spending of our tax dollars, etc.
For example, somehow the political left went completely silent about June 2022 under Biden: oil at $115, gas at $5.02 national average, and inflation screaming at 9.1%. Crickets. No wall-to-wall coverage. No endless “Biden’s fault” chants. Just… nothing.
And if, God forbid, the Democrats regain control, the right will also resort to complaining about issues that are little more than playground banter.
But make no mistake, I absolutely do believe that Barack Obama did more to divide this country than any former President and pushed the political spectrum of the left to the insane level that it's currently at. Not only are we now divided along racial and economic class lines, but they've pushed the bubble to divide us along sexual lines as well with the advent of white women syndrome, Thanks, Democrats!

How easy is it to constantly label and categorize our fellow citizens who may have differing political views. My side and your side. Our side and their side. The right side and the wrong side.
