My way too early pimp for a QB in the 2027 draft.

I believe you have me confused with someone else. I certainly couldn’t be better than the guys employed by the great Arthur Rooney, second of his name, captain of the good ship Ruanaidh and king of Pittsburgh. I don’t know what to tell ya, just a fan pontificating on fan things and trying not to ruffle too many feathers along the way. Also, my name is becoming an oxymoron of sorts. I’m going to have to shut my mouth to keep up my namesake. On that note, I humbly excuse myself and leave you to your discussions.
no,, no im not.

youre assigning a value to rudolph based on his starts when ben went down. Im saying also ,, what if rudolph finally blooms because of mike mccarthy and his offense? Never know.
Except he started for a year in Tennessee. Id have to think Howard is more likely to develop at this point then Rudy. But I guess that's what Camp is for.

Game experience, a somewhat known commodity, he’s Pepperidge Farms Milanos. Ya know what you’re getting, consistent. He’s not the best but his best stuff is top tier backup, bottom half starter. You could throw one of the other two in there and it might end up a nightmare or hinder development.
You can't develop if you are cut and somewhere else. Rudy can get you 200 yards 2 tds and a pick.

They will have their franchise before then. 😄

HUMOR in a twisted way…………….. Hope you are right though.!!!

I dont disagree with you about what you expect from Rudolph sask. I just remember Geno Smith, and Rich Gannon, and Tommy Maddox.

I hear what you are saying and definitely realize under the last regime, there was no chance for Rudy to develope into said scenario.

MM has a very good QB developement reputation, can Rudy absorb enough to accomplish the dream.

I think he has been to long under the previous influence of coaching that he can climb, but not to the degree of need.

I’m looking forward to the QB battle come training camp, and hope the best out of each participant.

Right. And dont be surprised when Rudolph looks much better than the other two. Just wondering if he gets a fair shake, or is he looked at with a jaundice eye , like coolie does.
He will get training camp. If he beats out Will he will stick IMO if he doesn’t he won’t. I think that will be a pretty fair decide…

Sagapolutele from Cal may turn out to be the best passing QB in college football next year but ineligible for the 2027 draft considering it will be only his second year out of high school.
6’3 and over 220,

It will be interesting to see how Austin Simmons plays out at Missouri, he transferred there after starting the season (disappointedly) last season at Ol Miss, suffered an ankle injury and never regained the starter position from Chambliss. Kid has a ton of talent, thought he would make the leap last year after sitting behind Dart. Still very young, I think 20. Southpaw.

Just a my interest thing but, if you’re looking for legitimate dark horses, look no further than Sellers and Avery Johnson. They seem to fit the body type that the organization is trending towards.

The trailer court girls all say he has something abnormal, but it’s located on his lower eye…………….

EDIT: I’m not a customer of theirs, I just always have to clean up the mess our socially outcasted Coolie and Lunar leave after a black-out night of party. Usually have to tow their cars out of the ditch / jump start because they leave doors open and cab light runs down battery / actually put gas in most times / fire-hose out the interior and exterior from all the puke - manure from animals inducted / call their houses to leave some kind of alibi cover story / you know….. the things a good friends would do if I was one…………

That would be ideal, but 29 of the 32 starters last year were 1st or 2nd round picks, the odds aren't in our favor.
While true, are guys like JJ McCarthy and Jaxon Dart that much better as prospects than some QBs drafted in the 3rd or 4th?

we don't know yet, Dart had a pretty good rookie year though.

Right

Dart did pretty well on n an offense that had little in the playmaker market…Nabers and them jack squat…as a roooie.

I think Dart will shine when he actually has some weapons

Dart definitely looked like a 1st rounder coming out

I was high on him as for me he fit the pocket passer capable mold. Which fewer seem to fit.

I thought that JJ McCarthy was drafted much higher than he should have been.

There are more prospects coming out at QB next draft then we've had in a long time. I hope Allar/Howard pans out but I'm pretty confident we can land a good one next draft as well. McCarthy will have time to assess the guys in our draft range and find a good one.
