America doesn't have a tax problem. America has a spending problem. They took in $5.23 trillion in tax revenue in 2025. They spent over $7 trillion. That's madness. The government simply cannot be all things to all people through spending. We're going over the fiscal cliff. Probably in my lifetime. People think stuff is bad now. They'll wish for the days of Trump's presidency.
A great question to ask anyone would be what would you call a person that spends 25% more than the income they have coming in?

I lived there from 2 years old until the end of 5th grade, then moved further up the panhandle. My family is all spread out through the panhandle from Morgan to Berkeley County.

The Dim-O-Crats have gone full communist. This isn't a situation where they want the same things for the nation as the GOP but they have a different approach to getting them anymore. They want full leftist authoritarianism, mass migration of 3rd worlders, a planned economy and curtailing every part of the Bill of Rights. There is no common ground anymore, you want to be left alone and they want to Tranz your children. We will be in a shooting war with them very soon.

While the Republicans do control the WH, both houses of congress and the SC, and I will add that normally only a simple majority is needed to pass a bill through the Senate, the filibuster being the only tool the Democrats have to throw a wrench into anything proposed by the opposing party, and of course, that's all that matter to them.
