Guthrie Kidnapping

Tried watching it a few times a couple of years ago then decided I had better things to do with my time.
It ranks up there with Whoopie and The View and boggle the mind as to who the people are that watch this crap.
 
Lotta fishy **** going on with this. I don't know what to think.
 
I hope she's ok but in all reality who gives a flying 🦆? Maybe I'm a cold-hearted SOB but bad **** happens every day to folks and families who are not associated with celebrities. Why does celebrity status equate to 24/7 news and nationwide empathy? There's much more tragic stories out there happening under the network radar. If course that doesn't pay the monkey

Totally agree but they go with what gives them ratings and people love a good mystery.

That makes it worse. The network is capitalizing on the tragedy of an employee. Think about how 🦆 ed up that is.

If was your mom or mine or any plebe’s mother it probably doesn’t get mentioned even locally much less dominate the news cycle for over a month.
 
Hope she is alive, like I would anyones mother. But at this point she is probs dead.

Is anyone else having a difficult time caring about any of this bullshit thrown in front of our faces on the daily? I open a web browser, and the home screen is talking about Kelly Osbourne's hands, celebrities who married the same spouse twice, American tries Canada's Tim Horton's for the first time. My YouTube recommendations filled with Epstein ****, Pam Bondi ****, and I never watch any of it, I don't want to see the ****, I want to watch fishing, camping, hiking, motorcycles and learning bushcraft but the fookers won't leave me alone with the never-ending news cycles. I plan on retiring to my study after dinner tonight, pour a nice brandy, put on some music and read my book. I'm about ready to go full on Amish and get rid of electronics.
 
I find the story interesting it's like a slow moving CSI episode. The media coverage is over the top especially since there is nothing new going on. Either the sheriff/ Fbi are totally incompetent or the perps really knew what they were doing. As for exploiting the situation i don't think this story is really doing much for ratings. Maybe the today show got a bump in viewers originally, but I'm sure that will die down. I have never heard of the Guthries till this story and still have never watched the today show. I do not see a happy ending to this story unless the person who took Nancy knew what all meds and what not she was on. The whole ransom thing is just bizarre.

Could have easily been revenge from someome Savananah crossed over the years with her reporting of them or one of their family members.
