Rogers is over throwing everyone

running game starts weak

can any steeler DB catch the ball?

defense is soft as hell against the run tonight...where is last weeks run D??

3rd down still sucks

easily Aaron's worst game as a steeler

This offense really hasn't changed in 5 years. It doesn't matter what qb you stick in this **** show. They're starting a pretty long line of them post Big Ben.


I'm not sure what the deal was with Rodgers throwing high. I haven't seen much of that all year.

This offense is easy to defend and shut down. The wideouts are not beating anyone.

Does this team ever script anything?


The corners need to catch a few hundred balls a week on the jugs machine.

Metcalf and Jonneou Smith are a waste of roster spots.

Tomlin is a waste of salary out there staring up at the sky.

Rodgers looks frustrated and either the WRs are trash or the play calling is awful.

When he goes no huddle he finds players and makes great throws.

This team is toast until they get a new coach and a new identity
 
Aaron Rogers worst game of his career! He might be c00ked!

The team is c00ked for this season! They'll be lucky to win 2 or 3 more games!

Time to give Will Howard a chance to see if he could be a special player for us....and the Steeler Nation should all be ok with that!

DK Metcalf has no heart and makes little to no effort on passes thrown his way. He plays for a paycheck and that's all! He's not a Steeler!

Hey Omar Khan stop trying to buy this team into a playoff contender. Build through the Draft!

Arthur Smith could have been a great OC if the year was 1981. Unfortunately it's 2025!

Roman Wilson is the only WR on the roster who plays with any heart!

Yepper. Metcalf and Smith are a huge waste of money. George Pickens was 10 times better at contested balls. For as big as Metcalf is,he sure gets pushed around a lot.


You can't free agent and trade your way to a championship. Are they that ******* lazy in drafting and player development?

They absolutely suck at it.

I do. Look at how their plays made sense. Look at tge fact they contest the middle and the Steelers vacate it. Yes the players didn't do their job tonight on many occasions, but as usual the scheme does them zero service. Id say Herbert is let's say a 7-10 best QB. Anyone at his level or better rips this defense a new *** just in design alone. They vacate a giant hole about 39 square yards over the middle.
 
The Steelers told you that they were punting on this season when they did nothing at the deadline.

I'm on board with that. Why trade draft picks to be slightly better this year and lose in the wildcard round anyway? So we can't be too surprised when they come up short.

Mike Tomlin can't win on the west coast. You really can end the analysis there. Not only do they lose, but they generally look awful doing it, even against crap teams. That's not an excuse. It's happened so often that it's simply a fact.

The defense played well enough to win. They made some mistakes but it's hard to play defense when your offense does absolutely nothing.

This loss is all on offense.

The WRs are subpar. That's being kind. DK is still good but he's not a Jamar Chase. You can take him away with double teams and it's very easy to double him since nobody else gets open consistently.


Why does Tomlin hate Jaylen Warren?

That's a serious question. Warren is by far the best offensive player and they use him sparingly. He only had 14 carries tonight and this game was close until late. They only threw him 2 passes and he delivered a big play on 1 of them.

Gainwell got 4 targets and delivered 4 yards total on 2 receptions.

Other than needing a rest, there is literally ZERO situations where any RB but Warren should be on the field. The Defense must breathe easier when he's not in there because they don't have to worry about the RB.

Warren has 113 carries in 8 games. That's 14 carries per game. That's similar usage as Detroit with Gibbs, but the difference is Detroit has David Montgomery as the #2 and the dropoff from Gibbs is small. Plus the Det passing game is explosive.

The Steelers passing game stinks and there's a huge dropoff to Gainwell. Gainwell is OK statistically but he's no threat at all to the defense.
 
Initial thought: Rodgers has played well for the most part all season, but he was horrendous tonight. For all the bltching about Metcalf, had AR hit him early on for that wide open 41-yard touchdown (and at least one other time I recall where DK was open and overthown), he would have had a productive game.

Other thoughts:
1) Why oh why can't they take a shot down the field on 2nd-and-1? Three different opportunities tonight, three runs up the middle.
2) Every audible that Rodgers has ever called has been a running play. You can set your watch by it. And it usually doesn't work.
3) Watt gets a garbage-time sack when it was 22-3, but was once again mostly a non-factor for the vast majority of the game. Was hopeful that he had turned a corner last week...nah.
4) Herbig made some plays when he was in there.
5) Yet another instance of a Steelers edge rusher getting a costly offsides penalty that has absolutely nothing to do with the play when Highsmith got flagged, nullifying a a sack. Just plain asininity that these guys cannot stay on the right side of the line of scrimmage before the snap.
 
Uhhhh, the Ravens are going to destroy us both times. I said last week the Ravens were winning the division, hopefully some of y’all listened and put some money down.
 
1) Arthur Smith needs to be gone ASAP and Pat Meyers...my goodness.

2) Defense wasnt great but they were not the problem tonight

3) I've said this once, if not a 100 times and probably will say a 100 more times....it was a boneheaded move to get rid of Pickens for a third rd pick. I understand why they felt they had to move him. I dont understand why they did it for a third rd pick. Insane! He should be on this team and we should not be dreading not having a #2 WR. You mean to tell me Pickens isnt good for 2-3 first down catches a game???!! Not to mention it would've created so many match up problems and issues with trying to double him or DK with the other being on the other side.

Aaron Rodgers had no business looking frustrated at anybody but himself.
