TNF 10-9-25

I like Harmon and it's still too early to tell, but Dart might have the goods.

Really hope the Steelers don't regret passing on him.

And he would sitting on the bench. His pass blocking is said to be worse than Johnson's.🤔

That’s the thing Drink. Their running back Cam Skattebo. They know exactly what they got already because they actually handed the ball off to him. They let Jackson Dart play and used his strengths. Not micromanage every play.
After 2 years we don’t even know what Roman Wilson can do. He’s hardly in for any snaps and when he is,not ever targeted.
Our rookie RB,who the heck knows what he can do. Will one stupid blunder mean he gets no snaps for 80% of the season?

I guess the difference is Giants were in desperation mode. They had to make changes,and you could see the instant spark.
The bottom line is We are at 3-1so things are working,but Our next two games will be very telling.

I am not so sure I agree with that. Three rookies started on the line last year until one got hurt right away. We had a rookie playing a lot at ILB and in the Secondary. This year we have another rookie starting on the D Line. They are not afraid to use rookies, those rookies just need to be ready to be used.

Have to agree with this,it used to take them longer to insert the rookies. I think my frustration more lies with our pass catching situation. I also realize we are only 4 games in. They have to get Roman some targets. They have to get Jonnu and Pat some targets. I shudder to think if DJ goes down.

Against big 4-3 fronts they will see less targets as we use more of Washington and a 6th o-line. That isn’t leaving a lot of routes for the WR2. I expect that to the the same this week as they focus on run production. If they can get more single high then we will see some more deep shots and routes. We have to establish the run consistently to get those looks. I am actually happy with the game to game adjustments being made to generate better run matchups. Washington is a beast blocking and he can catch a few.

I hear what you’re saying Leb……sure as god made little green apples,one day we’re going to be behind and have to play catch up. The run game will be left behind. Those big 4-3 fronts have shut down our run game many times in the past.
We’ve had games of 218,195, 139 and 182 yards passing.
Games of 53,72,64,134 yards rushing.

These stats don’t exactly scream off the page. I am optimistic for more improvement as our OLine gets better.
The other teams turnovers is what has us in a winning record.

Let’s hope our guys still remember what catching a pass feels like. Pat,Jonnu and Roman have 22 catches all together. For a whopping 143 yards. They’ve been targeted 28 times. 28 times between the 3 of them. 28 times.

The other thread asks if Pat should be traded. If he went to a team that actually used a TE with a good QB he’d be a star.

I think as the line keeps improving and the other receivers get more acclimated to Rodgers high standards the passing game will improve enough.
