I hate international games

Defense seems like they came to play today

looks like they listenedto my post in the college game thread...see vids below

offense looks beter today also

gainwell is running hard

god I hate international games

defense showing up big

huge plays by Benton,Herbig Watt...Elliot...damn even Wilson made a play

gainwell looked damn good

OL really opened some holes today

Wilson's hustle to catch the WR was impressive

Defense folding late sucks ***

don't mind going for it on 4th and goal...but the play call sucked hit one of your big guys up high

Roman Wilson actually contributed

how do you not get the ball snapped on 4th and 1 with the game on the line

lots of secondary guys going down- hopefully the bye week gives them time to come back

should not havebeen sitting there sweating out the finish

It can never be easy with Tomlin teams.
Always a rock fight decided on the last possession.
How the hell do you excuse the 4th and half yard where you take a delay of game. Very poor click management.
Defense goes to sleep on Addison’s long catch and run. More communication issues perhaps.
They won in spite of shades and Austin.
 
Score does not show we played good against a team picked to win. TD called back, interception overturned, blocked field goal. All and all we played good Tomlin decision was interesting, not sure you would not make it where they had to get two TD's
 
International games suck. Mad that I didn't get to go to the game in Pittsburgh today.

This is the best the team looked all season and it's a good win, though against a terrible QB.

Splash plays left and right from the defense. Really liked the pass rush today.

Elliott is a playmaker and it was big to have him back.

Gainwell really stepped up with Warren being out. The best the run blocking has looked all season.

Four targets for DK in the first half and then we forgot about him.

At this point it does seem like an outright refusal. It's not like he's looked bad in his very limited action. No chance for Johnson to get acclimated either as they are going to his strengths early on.
 
Yep, both OL and DL played better today. Broderick Jones had his best game as a Steeler.
Kaleb Johnson had a couple nice carries.
Kenny G. Played well!
Outside of Metcalf, nothing! Team badly needs #2 WR.
Frazier needs to work on his snaps out of shotgun. Some close ones today.
 
This was a complete team win. I get not going for it at the end. They don't make it, the Vikings are 15 yards out of FG range.
Rodgers was on point and managed a great game.
Gainwell ran like a Mo'Fo. Metcalf is a machine. The defense may have just sacked Wentz again while I'm typing and might get another sack before he gets back on the bus. Elliott makes the secondary run smoother. That open play to Addison was a blown coverage but they survived. Today, The Steelers had the better team and the better coaches.
 
This game should have been a blow out.

That 2 dl set of the Addison big play late in the 4th was idiotic. Why stop what you've done all day to get cute. In fact, rip that page out of the book and burn it.

They can't get pressure rushing just 4

I was told the Arthur Smith's offense doesn't need a #2 because he runs out 50 TEs and will use them as weapons.
 
Much better running game, much better run defense and a really good game ... what a shock that Tomlin's Team made it a 4th quarter one-possession nailbiter. That never happens.
 
Hated some of the 4th down decisions late in the game and the blown coverage was inexcusable while protecting a 10 point lead late.

Despite that and the blocked FG, it was still probably the most complete game the Steelers have played in a long time.

If they can run the ball like that somewhat consistently, the Steelers will be tough, as Rodgers is showing to still be a pretty good passer, but it's hard not to be skeptical about the running game being something they can count on.

Getting Elliot back definitely helps the middle of the pass defense. The pass rush looks to becoming what it was expected be.

Overall, cannot complain too much going into the bye at 3-1.
 
A lot of positives to take away from this game. The offensive line played well against a good defense. The run game got going, the pass game was efficient.

The defense had 7, seven, VII sacks today. They now have 12 sacks in their last two games compared to three in the in the first two games.

There’s so much more, but I got **** to do.

To quote Lou Brown, “It’s startin to come together Pepper, it’s startin to come together.”
 
Bottom line is we are 3-1.
Up until the start of the 4th quarter,I thought it was our best coached and executed game this season.

Seems like the board was 50-50 with the 4th down decision. Personally I’ll admit I was for it. The play call was ridiculous. Play action roll out to Pat,DK or our mountain TE. You could see Rodgers wanted to go for it. You could also see he wasn’t impressed by the call. How you don’t let him throw ,with all the TD’s he’s had is mind boggling. It was 4th down clock stops regardless. The way the D was playing it would be a 95 yard drive. No way that could happen….right?🤪
Carson Wentz. 350 yards passing. Good lord. Nice pooch kick by Waitman. 🤨
Nick Herbig is only 23. Monster game. DK….good game. Gainwell great game 99 yards. Rodgers,efficient.

A game I thought we would lose,so I am happy for the win.
And lastly our resident one trick pony troll that grants the team a win with 5 minutes to go should go sit in the corner and take aTO for a couple weeks.

Who is going to replace Calvin Austin? We are already thin at WR!

I guess it's a good thing Arthur Smith uses alot of 3 TE spread formations....because right now we don't have a #2 WR.
