Rodgers on McAfee show.

I walk a lot and I listened to Pat’s Podcast of this. Not just this one, but McAfee does a great job. His videos are well worth the watch as well. I like his rebellious attitude / insider information / human appeal, amongst other things as well.

Thanks for the post Steelmann, appreciate yaz.

If they can keep Rodgers jersey clean this just might turn into a fun and exciting season. He's a steeler now so I'm a big fan of Rodgers just like I am of everyone else that puts on the black and gold uniform.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Rodgers. Think it could end up a solid season, or we're right back to where we were without him.
I personally think most stuff about him gets blown out of proportion.

Trust me, I’m not wrong on this.
I think we could have a solid season, or possibly even a great season. But we could also have a mediocre season or even a bad season.

Ya know, I agree.

I think we absolutely will have a great, good, solid, questionable, or bad season. One of those id bet.

Perhaps that may be your wish if you’re a Negative Nancy, but not having a season at all is something I would not anticipate.
Trust me.

There was a time that I would have been devastated, had a season not occurred.

With today’s NFL,…………… HoHum

Very compelling analysis, Hypo. Your post could be solid or even great, or it might turn out to be wrong or even devastatingly inaccurate.

32 NFL General Managers ain't hearing ya...

This would be true of a lot of QBs, most teams either have their established starter or who they think is their future established starter, while a handful like the Steelers are in QB purgatory.

I think this is a waste of money and effort, but it’s not my money or effort.

The last two seasons are not about winning a Super Bowl or even a playoff game, IMO, it’s about raising the floor to get Tomlin past Noll in career wins ASAP. Tomlin is 10 wins away from tying Noll’s regular season total (183 to 193), 18 away if you count playoffs (191 to 209). That’s two more seasons.

Once the old QBs, Watt, Cam, and Minkah are at or near the end, he’ll leave the franchise worse off than inherited by a large margin, unlike his two predecessors, and be called The Best Steeler Coach Ever by the media.

I don’t think he has any interest in drafting a franchise QB next year and starting over.

Few people care what the media says anymore, best Steeler coach ever?

Emperor Chaz took this team from the ashes and generated 4 rings. Shades took a well-oiled machine and will limp to the finish line on 3 cylinders.

That's going to be the big payoff on the social capital invested and of course the media will group him at least in that second tier of all time great coaches if not right behind Shula and Noll at 5-10. Pretty safe to say they will say he is a top 10 all-time coach because he never had a losing season and eclipsed Chuck Noll's win record. When most of us know Tomlin couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper sack on game day.

Tomlin wins every offseason and draft. That's where the legend has been carefully built and manicured.

Rodgers is nothing more than a bandaid applied to a nasty cut.
He can still zing the ball and can still read defenses. Those things still work for him.
The question or should I say the nasty cut is the OL. The line must gel quickly, stay healthy and provide protection for Rodgers. LT is key, his blind side is critical to his success or failure. The one thing Rodgers is not any longer is mobile. At 41 he’s simply not as good escaping the rush as he was when he was much younger.
Hopefully the OL can do the job or this will go bad in a hurry.

He wasn’t talking to them.

But if 32 GM’s could hear him they’d probably say good luck.
They have ALREADY SPOKEN....Not a single team has or is after MR as a freaking starter his WHOLE DAMN CAREER....

Stop with the MR is a starter BS...HE IS NOT

Funny how personalities work. I find him to be an insufferable jerk.
