The Playoff machine.......is back

We beat LAC last meeting but starting QB was hurt and left game. I'd take SD this time around.

Ravens are NOT losing to Cleveland next week.

So if we win, we are headed to Houston and if we lose we are headed to Baltimore.

What a disgusting ending if we lose to Cincy and get boat-raced in Baltimore. Sadly, that's very likely.

The total collapse should be of no surprise to anyone.

They could still end up going to Buffalo if they lose and the Chargers and Broncos win out.

Texans are definitely the best matchup for the Steelers in that the Texans are struggling about as badly as the Steelers are right now.

It might be a "who sucks less" kind of deal.

The honest pregame speech for the Bengals game should go something like this:

“You know damn well that you’d rather have the Texans end our season than the Ravens! Remember that on the field today!”

Texans may be the easiest road, but when have the STEELERS ever took the easy route…….. as if they had a choice.

Salute the nation

Texans got curb stomped and *** raped by the Rats yesterday.

which, of course, means the Texans would do the same to us in the first round, despite being the easier route.

The reality is they'll have to beat 2 great teams to reach the superbowl. The only team who hasn't kicked their *** yet is Buffalo. Which they would easily.

Win a playoff game, are you kidding me. They may not beat Cincinnati and then play on the road and lose. Nothing changes here!
It’s time for both party’s to go their separate ways which imo benefits both.

It is a total collapse, no other way to describe it. Tomlin has sucked s--t once again to end the year. If we bounce back for one game and get destroyed in the playoffs, it's still a total collapse. Losing to Philly, Balt. and KC, 3 in a row blowouts, the way we did cannot be explained any other way. We got steamrolled by a mile. Tomlin then gave up during the game, gave the f--- up. I heard an announcer say he should have been fired right on the field following the game.

If they lose next week and get bombed in Baltimore again or win and Lose in Houston. It's a groundhog day part 6 or whatever the **** it is. If they win next week and then in Houston I will say it's a minor improvement.

So what time slot do we get next week? All game times are TBD. Does the NFL have us and the Ravens play at the same time? If we win :ROFLMAO: the Ravens have to win to win the division, so do we play early and they play late?

At this point, losing out would be the best result for the fan base. It will end all talk of a coach of the year and make it, at least mildly, impossible to ignore almost a decade of late season ineptitude and playoff failures! To think they have the “pedigree,” as Tomlin would say, and talent of Heyward, Watt n Fitzpatrick on the D and they have not won a single playoff game in 7 seasons and likely gonna be 8! It should be absolutely inexcusable.

If they manage to land in Houston for a wildcard and win, it’ll be perceived by Tomlin, the media and management as progress, when the reality is, they are, at best, a warmup for the eventual conference, maybe SB champion. No one could possibly expect a different outcome than what we saw the last 3 weeks against top contenders, and I think the Bills are actually the best team in the conference, this season.

Houston would definitely be the easiest game right now. We were only trailing KC 16-10 at half time and we had chances, but got demolished the second half. We had chances in the Ravens game as well, but didn't get the bounces and had a costly turnover before Henry took over. We never had a chance in the Eagles game. At this point don't know if I would even worry about seeding. Rest the guys next week and see what happens

Lol. Houston would indeed be the easiest game for the Steelers.
But somehow I think every other playoff teams are saying the exact same about the Steelers.

Houston will not be an automatic win, trust me.The Texans kicked our ***** last year so don’t take them lightly. DeMeco and Slowik can coach!

Eh I am not as pessimistic. I can see them beating Cincy since the Cincy defense is horrible.

But then again, I actually thought they had a chance this week after getting people back to play KC.....Wrong.

The worst case for those of us who want change, is them beating Cincy and then winning Houston, which is the best chance at a playoff win, before they get trucked in the second round.

It will create another illusion of a successful year, when in fact, they really never had a chance.

They scored the lowest possible number you can have, and not get shut out yesterday.

2

Definitely not automatic, but by far the easiest out for the Steelers.

You people keep thinking the Texans are our best chance but I’m telling you be careful what you wish for.
I know Tank Dell is out but they have other weapons and a really good young QB and a good defense. Very well coached.

Who else would you want? I know thenRavens just kicked everyone's ***, but the Steelers match up better against them than any other playoff team

We also beat the Texans this year
