"Contrast stitching in the uniform construction that depicts attention to detail and craftsmanship to exemplify the City of Cleveland’s hard-working, blue-collar demeanor."

That's right. Cleveland's hard working demeanor is signified by different colored thread.

Better them than us. Now they remind me of Syracuse. No identity. They really didn't need to try to improve their look, but should concentrate on improving their team.

those fans are gonna be very proud of their uniforms, not so much of their team

no pics of Johnny Manzel in the uni? WTH? The tuna fell off the cracker that fast, eh? He was sliced bread last draft and now he is "who? Oh, the rehab guy. . ."

You can't polish a turd. Those uniforms are awful.

The Browns will have nine different combinations to choose from

who they think they are, Oregon?

They'll look great playing Ohio State...and probably still lose!

bwahahahahahaha

awful

Those are nasty. I do like how it says Browns down the pants though.

I didn't know you could make **** look uglier... I guess I was wrong...

Horrible.

Exactly what I was thinking. But that's perfect for the Browns, now they can concentrate on trying to get 6 wins to be bowl eligible.

They remind me of Mud Dogs uniforms from The Waterboy

The drop shadow on the numbers is gross, but other than that I think it's actually an improvement. Moving to a more "pastel" scheme than the abrupt **** BROWN/ORANGE/WHITE they had before is a positive, imo.

i hope this is not a trend of the NFL allowing teams to have multiple uniforms. They allowed a 3rd alternate uniform and throwbacks and that's enough. I'd hate to see it go like college where teams try to out-do each other for ugliest uniform each week.

You can elect to wear whatever color scheme you want to if you're the home team (obviously) but you see teams like Baltimore wear all black, all purple, Cleveland has done all brown, all orange, Jags all black, Panthers all teal, all light blue etc. So I guess the **** stains will have a few extra .

:clowns:

so, you wouldn't want an all yellow, all black and all white unis, tape? I do like our uniforms and really hope they don't give in to change. The Rooneys seem pretty good with honoring tradition with minor tweaks.

Yeah, they're hideous....but below is what concerns me.

Did some research on teams whos luck changed after their uniforms did....all had Super Bowl appearances.

The following teams had met various degrees of Super Bowl success after changing their uniform design.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers. After nearly 40 years of football futility, they changed their uniforms in 1968. You know the rest of the story.

2. New England. Primarily a mediocre team throughout their history. Were blown out in the 1985 Super Bowl while in their old uniforms. They changed their uni design in 1997. They have won 4 Super Bowls, and have remained a consistent winner ever since.

3. Denver Broncos. Blown out in 4 Super Bowls. They changed their uniform design in 1997 and went on to WIN 2 Super Bowls.

4. The Arizona Cardinals. A team that has sucked for most of their existence, had the first major change in their uniforms in 2005. In the years that followed, they have had improved to 5-11, 8-8, 9-7, 10-6, and their first ever Super Bowl appearance.

5. Tampa Bay Bucs. Bad team for a long time. They changed their uni design in 1998, and compiled records of 8-8, 11-5, 10-6, 9-7, 12-4, and a first ever Super Bowl victory in 2003.

6. Seattle Seahawks. In 2002 had a major change in their uniforms, and 3yrs. later appeared in their first ever Super Bowl vs. the Steelers.

7. Cincinnati Bengals. Major uniform change in 1981. Went on to appear in two Super Bowls that decade.

8. Atlanta Falcons. 1997, the start of the “Dirty Bird’ era. Although the home uniforms changed little that year, Dan Reeves came in in 1997 and did a complete overhaul on the Falcons away uniforms. The Falcons made their first Super Bowl appearance the following year.

9. Philadelphia Eagles. Changed the look of their uniform in 1980. That very same year they made their first Super Bowl appearance, losing to the Raiders. Should also note that in 2004 they wore redesigned uni’s and that very same year they appeared in their second Super Bowl, losing to the Pats.
.

Well, almost…

10. St. Louis Rams. Donned a new uni design in 2000, one year after beating the Titans in the Super Bowl in their old uni’s. A uniform change had to be in the planning. The Rams did remain a contender and appeared in yet another Super Bowl.

Well, not quite but kinda…

11. The Cleveland Browns. After a near decade of losing in the 90’s, Art Modell chose to leave the ugly uniform and pumpkin helmet along with the name in Cleveland.
The men once known as the Browns were wearing purple and finally playing in a Super Bowl.

12. The Houston Oilers. Those Bum Philips teams were so close to a Super Bowl appearance several times. Eventually moved to Tennessee, changed their uniform design and became the Titans. They had finally got over the hump and faced the Rams in the Super Bowl..

If the redesigned uniforms can't change the Clowns luck, then it because they're still Cleveland.

Lol i actually consider the shadowed block-numbers one of the few pluses of the uni. I really hate how they put "CLEVELAND" across the front of the jersey, like its a damn basketball jersey. And i cant stand the brown facemask, i actually appreciated that the browns brought back their grey facemask, went well with the previous uniform. They just need to NEVER wear the brown-on-brown, that should not be an option. Orange jersey/white trousers combo seems to flow the best, IMO

Ladies and Gentlemen, your Bowling Green Browns

Panthers are electric blue, Dolphins are teal

I wouldn't mind an alternate uniform if it still looks good and not just a bunch of thrown together nonsense like many of the new college uniforms.

Here's a few possible ideas for a steeler alternate. The general scheme could be adapted to the steelers easily

Army. The pattern in the numbers and on the sleeves are actually map lines from the area around the battle of the bulge from WW2. It was a tribute to 1944 Army who kicked *** on the battlefield and on the football field going undefeated. I love stuff like that because it's meaningful to the team. It's not just on there to be loud or make teenagers think it's cool.

What did Charles Barkley once say about the 76ers Uniforms when changed? That his daughter could do better with crayons? Yeah....that applies here.

If our colors were yellow, maybe. But the Steelers are Black and Gold -- not Black and Yellow.

Sorry, pet peeve
