Steelers Schedule Leaks

I want all, the entire season on Thursday night PRIME.

I already have Prime, so it won’t cost me more and our players would be climatized for it.

Finally, a schedule in our favor, first time ever……..!!!

PS

I wouldn’t even mind if we played the back to back, Christmas’s Wednesday and then next day Thursday night game…….

That way no one could say we had favortism from the scheduling department………..

The positive with the KC game is that it's later in the season. That certainly gives a lot more time for the rookies to hopefully have it somewhat together by then.
Hopefully. But with this HC?

I have to go with what they have and hope for the best.

They tend to do better against top tier opponents and lousy against teams they should destroy.

Now winning 2-3 playoff games plus superbowl is another story. And that is the real goal.Which is no easy task and only one will actually accomplish it each year.

They certainly have the blueprint in-house and are taking steps toward that with the draft the last 2 years.

The Tomlin’s time here could very well be contingent on playoff wins.

I don’t know the in-depth, behind closed doors conversation, but Rooney has made it known the direction the team needs to go. Couple that with the urgency being shown………….

That's what I figure. Just have to ride, wait and hope. I certainly WANT him to succeed. I can't really get fired up about it. I did that last year and it went up in flames after that second loss in a row,at home, to twin 2-10 teams.

Absolutely want success for the team first, but to get that, the coach must be successful as well.

I think most here want the Tomlin gone, but root for his success for the sake of the team.

It's a catch 22 currently, until the Tomlin shows something different. After 17years....... is there anything he can show different?

I guess if we manage to finish the game without a multi week injury to a key contributor, they get a mini bye heading into the last two games which will include at least one division opponent.

Idk why any of us should expect some big turnaround from this coach.
Look, it’s never been for me whether or not I like or dislike Tomlin. That’s never been part of it for me.
I simply know what to expect out of his coached teams. Always lose the head scratchers! The teams that you know we should beat we come out flat and lose.Thats the pattern over 17 seasons here.
We win just enough to keep us stuck in the middle and frankly that shouldn’t be good enough for any Steeler fan or the owner
Tomlin has been here too long and has grown stagnant and way too arrogant and comfortable.
The organization needs a change and so does Tomlin and that’s ok. It’s not that he’s a bad coach it’s just that it’s time now to go in another direction.
I want Bobby Slowik the OC from the Texans. This team needs to start a new era and develop their offense to compete with the big boy teams.
You simply do not win in this league any longer with ground and pound and defense. It’s about putting up points quickly and Tomlin is not the guy for that.

@ThePoniExpress

Just so people fully grasp how badly the Steelers and their fans are getting screwed by the NFL… Week 16 Saturday Dec 21 AT Ravens 4 days later… Week 17 Wednesday Xmas vs Chiefs I’m told consternation over this partly led to NFL schedule release delay.

Steelers fans are going to hate Christmas this year. Not only are the Steelers facing the Chiefs on Dec. 25, but four days before that, they have a Dec. 21 road game AT BALTIMORE. That's an insane four-day stretch. As Fillipponi alludes to, the Steelers can't be happy about that.

I feel like the Steelers are probably going to have a complaint or two about their late-season schedule

The last BYE week is week 14- Steelers, Chiefs, HOU, and BALT should be moved to that week as they are all playing on Wednesday 12/25 Christmas. All these teams were in the playoffs last year.

WORD BOOTY. Power in truth. 'Nuff said. When you're right, you're right. As Borat would say, "boowokasham."

If we do not have 2 division opponents in weeks 3 & 5 at home, all of our games against our division rivals will be packed into the back half of the schedule.
