Muse and Robinson lead first wave of cuts Monday.

Released along with Robinson was fellow safety Jalen Elliott, as well as LBs Tanner Muse and Toby Ndukwe, OL Le’Raven Clark and William Dunkle, CB Lavert Hill, DL Manny Jones, QB Tanner Morgan, and RB Darius Hagans.

Muse is the first guy who I thought would make it and didn’t… it’s possible that means Roche did and they will carry 5 olb and 4 ilb or that they just kept a safety over him

Robinson is a prime ps candidate… he has big playmaking ability but isn’t consistent enough yet

I was thinking Kwiatkoski beat him out.

Kwiatkowski is a better ST player. He also can be a long snapper if needed in an emergency because there’s nobody else backing up the Kuntz
I thought Muse was descent and would at least make the PS along with Robinson

Next round of cuts

RB - Bell
WR - fitzpatrick, Byrd
C - McCollum, Anderson
NT - Wren
DE - Marshall
ILB - Russel
OLB - Perales
CB - Sullivan
Safety - Killebrew, Thompson
K - Mann

That is the last of the semi-easy cuts IMO, then it gets interesting.

Killebrew and sullivan are probably making the roster. Anderson probably is the 8th ol based on preseason usage and flexibility. And Fitzpatrick has a punchers chance to have knocked Boykin or Gunner off the roster, though thats a longshot.

Im secretly hoping for a blockbuster trade out of left field… like if they really love Cook at OT and think he is roster ready, trading Chuks and his big old contract, moving moore tgere and letting Jones start… or maybe moving Adams off the DL because we have sufficient depth to replace him…

I stand by what I've been saying. Green makes the team not because he's any good. Tomlin has a soft spot for certain players and holds on too damn long. Green is one of them.
Watch the tape from last weeks game...
He actually looked like a half decent linemen............played a coupel of positions on the line also.

Kwiatkowski, Holcomb, Alexander were great pickups! they are going to be handy come these game that start out all smash mouth… browns, ravens bengals all want to run the ball I think the front office did a great job addressing the run defense… it would have took a great effort to have beat any of these guys out! GoSteelers!

I think they may still be shopping Green. Even if they get a 7th round pick or a pack of Charmin.

The Charmin would be proper response.

Salute the nation

Bold. It would certainly give us something to talk about.

His issue has always been that if he plays 30ish snaps… one or two might be great, 5 are good, 15 or so are average, 5 are bad and 2 or 3 are really bad, and those stand out the most… he is inconsistent as ****.. and his bad plays tend to bunch up because he has a temper and isn’t mentally strong so things get to him and it compiles into worse plays…

Both had talent and both get a jump on UFA to sign with a team. I personally think both at minimum will be on someone's PS.

As for Green, he started last game, played a half. Played FB, G, C this preseason, so I'm sure Khan is trying to move him before tomorrow at noon.
