At this point I would be happy if some just took his contract off the books in the off season. If we can get an early 3rd for him in the draft I'd take it in a heartbeat.

I am very much aware of that, I was talking during the offseason, thogh I didn’t make that clear.Trade deadline is passed. This is an offseason topic at this point.
Really is. Nothing we can do about it now. We can just hope he drops less and fumbles even less than that.Trade deadline is passed. This is an offseason topic at this point.
Why would you want to try and groom a young QB with a WR that continues to drop passes? If a WR can’t catch, who cares what his potential YAC is?I got a young QB. I'm not trading DJ. Sorry. Not happening.
Cause he isn't nearly as damn bad as you make him sound. Why would you want to try and groom a young QB with a WR that continues to drop passes? If a WR can’t catch, who cares what his potential YAC is?
I think Pickens had two targets and one catch, so he has lots of bandwidth available to pick up the slack. We could probably throw 4-5 sweeps per game his way if we really wanted to test his wheels.
are you going to change moniker since you are no longer a DJfan ?..........lolI am done with DJ as the number one. Keep him, I guess, but won't miss him if he's gone.
The offensive captains are Mitch Trubisky, who had an offseason with the team and Najee Harris, who doesn't exactly scream team leader. I don't know how much of a voice Daniels or Cole has in the locker room. Okorafor has been here for awhile, but he was part of an offensive line that didn't help up his Hall of Fame QB after sacks last year. Not many natural leaders or experience on the offense.Johnson is a symptom of the disease. Look at how Pickens is acting today and Monday night when he doesn't get the ball, there is no leadership from the top down on that side of the ball
Even in the offseason if you get rid of him you need two WRs. They already are short a WR.I'm sorry I'm not turning over the number one receiver to anyone who repeatedly tantrums in a win.

Yup, I saw Cam Heward being the one calming Pickens down
In those jobs though. They have to care. Otherwise they jeopardize their means of living.Heaven forbids, but that is not a joking matter.
Just as many here, we take our JOBs very serious and double triple check.
I know you're just joking but I can't in this case. I have seen houses burn down (NOT because of my work but because of bad workmanship in the trades).
I am very careful on how fast we move workers up in responsibility and I am a very small company, so quality is everything.
Sorry Paul, double Yoi (don't worry, you're still one of my favorites)
Salute the nation
A first??! Lol no chance in hell, you're delusionalWhy does everyone want to undervalue our guys? This is his 4th year… he is 26 so he still has several years in his prime left… he averages 56 yards and 5.3 catches per game played… based on production, age and contract you could get a first for him easily… hell with tge barren wr ufa group this season we might have gotten a first for claypool at the draft ( we kind of did anyhow) … he is the (edit-) 17th highest paid wr and that will drop before next year, a good number two guy costs ten million right now… wrs are grossly overvalued right now

Sorry, no chance, at ALL.Literally i can compare his stats to a couple of guys who just got a first back last year… route runners are a hot commodity right now too… give him to an OC that uses routes to pull people open and he is a huge weapon
He CONTINUES to drop passes at critical times, and has since he was drafted.Cause he isn't nearly as damn bad as you make him sound.
How about "Drop-a-Day" Johnson?I like the term “Wrongway”.
How is the OC responsible for a highly paid WR dropping the ball CONSTANTLY?How about we fire the offensive coordinator that runs one of the league's worst offenses and turtles entire 2nd halves and see if a decent coordinator can turn Johnson and a bunch of other young, talented, underachieving offensive players around?
When doesn’t he?Sounds like DJ is screwing up
